Supertones, and John Reuben. I guess if you're a superfan... Not even their best song, though. Now, if they break out the handwritten lyrics to "Zulu" or "Apple Shampoo" or "Wasting Time" or "M+Ms"... Then it's on... Or not, 'cause i don't have that kind of cash.

my pink copy of Boys and Girls in America has a bad split in the top of the jacket because, even after i asked for it not to be, the seller did exactly the opposite of what I asked him to do. I should clarify. It is bullshit that you should have to ask a record label to properly package a record for mailing. That shit should just be common sense to a record label. I agree completely, but i've had my shit come to me damaged so much that it's just a force of habit to ask if I have any question as to whether the record is going to be sealed or not. Ah well.

Sorry, but that is bullshit. If a label seriously cannot package records, they should not be a record label. I have been ordering vinyl for over 20 years and pretty much every true label I have ordered from has taken care to package their releases halfway decent so that damage does not occur in transit. If a label doesn't even care if the release gets to you in good shape, do you really think they care about you as a customer? Why is it bullshit that I ask them to do something, especially when it's the same thing I ask of anyone I order/buy records from? I was lucky enough to not have anything be screwed when I ordered the Juliana Theory 3 pack. They didn't come sealed. Felt this was an issue that I should be aware of in the future and took steps on my end, however limited as it is on my end, to ensure nothing happened to my two records in this order. Again, I even said that I don't think they're doing things the right way. They shouldn't packed EVERY order like mine. That way Patrick isn't out all the time he'll be putting into the new custom sleeves.

not saying they're doing things the right way, but they at least listened to you if you asked them to pack the records a certain way. I say this because that's what I did, and they listened. Smite me all you want, but it's the truth. I don't expect anyone to pack records properly unless I ask them to. Anyone I've dealt with on here can vouch that i ALWAYS ask for opened records to be packed outside the jacket, even though I know all of you know to do this already.

i actually requested that the records be packed outside the sleeves because I knew from previous experience that these wouldn't be factory sealed (ordered the Juliana Theory 3 pack ages ago), and that splitting may occur. They came to me outside the jackets, and all was well. I practically have the "If this record is not sealed, please pack the records outside of the jackets and any printed inner sleeve" message on standby in a text document so I don't have to type it out every single time.

hey, all. In my effort to treat Gaslight Anthem records like Pokemon cards ("GOTTA CATCH 'EM ALL!!!!!!"), I have gotten a duplicate. I've got the "Opaque clear with blue splatter/springe/sprinkles" version. Out of 300, made to replace 300 crystal clear with blue that were somehow screwed up. I've just play-tested it, and it plays fine on my Ion USB Turntable. Jacket's in good shape upon first inspection, but I could probably take a closer look later (typing this up in a hurry, 'cause i need to leave). I want to start by taking offers on it, and hopefully I can recoup most of what i paid for it. Purchased it from a UK seller who apparently thought that "crystal clear" meant the same thing as "cloudy as shit." Ah well. SOmeone here was able to hook me up with the crystal clear one, so all was not lost. I just have this copy that I don't need. I will post a picture later if you guys want me to. Just ask. Thanks!
