It's pretty obvious with non-payment feedback that a lot of people are habitual offenders with ordering and not paying. If being a pile of shit that can't pay for what was ordered is a generational thing, then sure, we'll use your excuse.

I do the same thing, but cancel after 24 hours and state that I expect immediate payment in my seller terms. You can’t buy shit on Amazon, Ebay, etc., hold up inventory, and then pay when and if you feel like it. Why Discogs has it set up that way is beyond me. Especially with new buyers who are typically the worst offenders.

If this eliminates people being able to order and then not pay until they feel like it, assuming they ever feel like it, then I’m all for it. The minimum 4 day window to cancel when someone doesn’t pay is the dumbest shit ever.

Is the shipping policy mainly affecting people who do international shipments? I haven't shipped anything internationally since the PO raised their rates 3 to 4 years ago, so I'm not aware of the prices at this point. I do know it's not cheap shipping overseas from the US. As Derek pointed out, $24.50 is pricey for a single lp and seems unexpectedly high. A $2 loss, while not huge, is annoying. It's pretty basic to set up a shipping policy for domestic US shipments with the staggered pricing of Media Mail. Hopefully there are no major increases to Media Mail shipment costs in the immediate future.

While I’m not into the label and could care less if the thread is moved, this should also serve as a notice that if you’re into the label and recently ordered something, you may not get it because their web shop and everything else business related is done. So yeah, it is record related in that sense.

Just don’t be that guy in the audience who yells, “Play a Misfits song!” when his band Doyle is playing. He didn’t react to kindly when someone did that at a show a few years ago.
