man....Relapse really is milking that Death discography...I wonder if Schuldiner's mom is actually seeing any of the profit(s)...
that colorway looks great, but not at 70+ shipped. My wife would probably divorce me if I put that bust in our living room next to the stereo 😂

a Rubik's cube?...get the fuck out of here
what is going on with Relapse and these stupid "deluxe" bundles?

In April we sent out an email updating our fans that the [Untitled] EP/Album Collector's Edition would begin shipping at the end of June with all orders being fulfilled by July. We regret to inform you that due to an unforeseen set back with the book-binders we are unable to make shipments in that timeframe now. Everything else has been finished and is ready to go; the sleeves, the vinyl, the t-shirt bundle packs, etc. We are just waiting on this last, crucial element to be finished up so all the materials can be assembled together and shipped to you safely.
Given the unpredictable nature of this project we feel that it would be irresponsible to give another firm estimate for shipping as we do not believer can offer a reliable one. The hope is to have them in a week or two, but it could be as long another month or so. We just don't know at this point.
We hope you understand that there is only so much we can do here as our hands our tied when it comes to manufacturing times. But we wanted to be transparent with all of you, our loyal fans and friends, who have been gracious enough to have supported this band and our families throughout the years. We will have another update for you guys again when the Collector's Editions are actually scheduled to be arriving by freight, so there will be no more guessing. These guys really do need to get their act together before going the CE route on any future releases.
"We just don't know at this point" is troubling....
I understand they're trying to be transparent, but I think this would have been better off left unsaid. I think the Space colorway is becoming available since people are cancelling their orders, so I wouldn't be surprised to see more plenty more in the next few days.

Napalm Records is OOS, but I was able to order from HR Records

I know it's a lot to ask, but if anyone sees the Duran Duran, could you let me know? I've been looking for it all morning, no joy...
-
managed to grab Flaming Lips and High On Fire, struck out on Duran Duran

All I really want is Flaming Lips and Duran Duran, hopefully I can score a copy of each tomorrow AM. I see the flippers already at it on Discogs/Ebay...

Got my Moros yesterday from Hidden Deity. This album absolutely rips, the groove and riffs are so fucking heavy and thick.

Pelican used to be one of my favorite bands, but I lost interest in after Laurent left. I like this track A LOT, hopefully we'll get a couple of more before the preorder goes live. If there's some consistency there I will definitely be picking this up.

Yea I noticed that earlier, still like 5 bucks more than the GITD, so I think I'll roll the dice on that one. Thanks though!
No problem! I hope it turns out to be a good pressing for those that picked it up.
I don't own any GITD records, but I think this would be a good place to start.

Does glow in the dark really sound that bad? Missed that splatter, so I grabbed this version
The red/black splatter is still available from the SOM international website. If you sign up for their newsletter you'll get a $5 coupon, so $34.25 shipped.

Same here, Profound Lore really is the best when it comes to early shipping.

When I saw them with Deafheaven like 70% of the crowd left after Baroness finished. Sad that everyone just went to see an hour of standard fair anthemic rock (the likes of Foo Fighters with more solos) instead of staying for heavenly transcendence. Oh well, lucky for me and everyone who stayed!
ouch...never really understood the appeal to Baroness myself, stop caring about them alltogether after the Blue album.

I'm trying to update basic information within my profile, i.e...location, etc..

This Mol record just popped up out of the blue.
https://deathwishinc.com/collections/holy-roar/products/mol-i-ii
Holy Roar take great pride in announcing the reissue of MØL’s first two EP’s, accentuating the formative years of one of Denmark’s brightest lights in metal.
Where debut LP JORD fully fleshed out their shoegaze-meets-black metal formula to masterful effect, these two early releases showcase the band in a much more raw and unfiltered environment. Not to be confused as lesser-than material or relegated to subpar, I and II both simmer and boil between the ethereal and the vicious. Choice tracks such as ‘Airy’ and ‘Kathexis’ present this dichotomy in dizzying fashion, the later pulling deftly from My Bloody Valentine and Drop Nineteens just as much as Altar of Plagues or Deafheaven.
Remastered and repackaged, MØL’s ‘I’ and ‘II’ are given a new life entirely. The hybrid of black metal and shoegaze has never sounded quite as spellbinding or masterful as it does in MØL’s case.
Track Listing:
01. Sundrowned
02. Airy
03. Makhachkala
04. Kathexis
05. Atacama
06. RushNot familiar with them, but as soon as I saw Drop Nineteens I had to check it out.
Another track on their BC page w/ a solid pink variant for the UK

Came here to post this as well. This was an immediate buy for me, unlike that new Darkthrone album. Grabbed the same variant you all did.
New single absolutely rips! Dare I say it, but it sounds like Browning picked right up from The Key...

Fuck yes! Nocturnus AD "Paradox" PO is up via Profound Lore. I went with the transparent blue w/ yellow-silver splatter.

Thank you. Your very reasonable and financially responsible post has convinced me to wait until I'm sure I need this. I need to be more picky.
As much as love Darkthrone, this is true. They haven't always been as consistent as I would like them to be, I'll leave it at that...

Yup, I understand that musicians have to make money, but I feel like Tweedy has gone full Gene Simmons here. Not a good look on their part at all. I guarantee they were planning on all the hip dad's out there with a ton of disposable income to throw money at this.
