  1. Picked this up. Hiphopapotamus is one of the few 'humorous rap parody' songs I have found to actually be funny. And the rest of the album is genius, of course.
  2. New Wave is not all that bad. Although the first half is better than the second half, it's still a damn good record if you're not concerned with being punx. and yeah, get The Disco before the Breakdown.
  3. -Missed the Office and 30 Rock +Torrenting both in hi-def +no class today -haven't done homework for tomorrow +Mae Shi LP should be in my mail box tomorrow
  4. You have to pay for a magazine. So, yeah, people like free things.
  5. Oh Dammit, it's Thursday! Dammit! dammit dammit dammit dammit dammit
  6. This motivated me to track this down online and listen to it, which then motivated me to be stoked on this repress. Fantastic album.
  7. I'd like to point out that this is now the banner I get when I visit this thread. That is all.
  8. HOly shat dude, thats awesome! Basically Park Tools are the american bike repair industry... Ive got a bunch of personals and the shops got like ten times what I have. Can you hook me up with shwag and more gear? I can possibly see what I can do, but I wouldn't get my hopes up. They get tons of letters from people asking for sponsorships etc., and they basically don't give any stuff out unless it's a pretty big team/event. But if you have any feedback or ideas concerning tools, I can get it to the right people. Oh, and I can totally get stickers. There are just billions of boxes of stickers.
  9. What kind of tools do you use? My dad owns Park Tool, and I work there in the warehouse during the summer making truing stands and wrenches and whatnot. Right now, I'm a student.
  10. Pedro the Lion - Hard to Find a Friend on white Winners Never Quit on white Control on coke bottle The First Noel on white $50 ppd
  11. Get a mac. Sorry, I couldn't help it.
  12. fucking great idea.. i wonder if they'd catch that the free 7" didn't come back though. Just take it to any Target or Best Buy, and they'll be able to scan it and return it for you. I've done this with CDs i've gotten as gifts. You just have to take off any store specific stickers.
  13. I'd have to say some of the worst hardcore/metal/punk/emo bands can be found at the generator stages at Cornerstone. Whoever has a generator and amps can set up and play. Bands will just play their mind numbingly awful music all day, and people come and watch. For whatever reason, people are willing to overlook total musical inept-ness and lack of originality because the members are Christian (unless they seriously are diggin it, in which case I guess Christians can have terrible taste in music too [shock!]).

  15. You mean Live 1975-85? It's a 5 LP. And it is totally one of the best live albums ever, particularly Thunder Road.
  16. I thought this was a lottery system, like random people from the other thread would be invited. Still, stoked to see some regulars get in on this, hope to see some killer releases as a result.

  18. I have an incoming list on my tradelist, which is basicaly for me to remember what I ordered.
  19. I would argue you on that point and give them the benefit of the doubt, because Tooth & Nail was started by Ebel to sign bands he liked that were too Christian for indie/alt/punk circles and too indie/alt/punk for Christian circles, not necessarily to cater to either group. Now that he's had success with that, why not create a label for bands that you like that aren't necessarily Christian in any regard? Then I remembered the last 10 bands to sign to Tooth & Nail, and MxPx coming back after their huge fight with them, and the existence of the Almost, and I have to agree: money.
