  1. Bob & Doug Mckenzie - Great White North on eBay maybe 2 years ago. It was right after I saw Strange Brew for the first time. Excellent movie.
  2. David Bazan - Fewer Moving Parts The Fury of the Aquabats! Neon Horse s/t 2nd-ed on: I Am Hollywood The Devil and God
  3. damn... I had no idea this many people needed Dolly. I guess it will be to ebay for me. Unless there's someone on this board willing to trade theirs to the fifth threadjacker on this thread. :-/
  4. Tall awkward kid in the yellow shirt in the background.
  5. Haha I'm not trying to be a dick, but we might want to add that one to the list. Wait, are you making fun of me, or are you serious? Because it's cool either way, I'm not offended or anything, I just need to know. Damn internet, I can never pick up on peoples' intentions...
  6. The worst part is that 100% of these beliefs, though made by Christians, either have no basis in the Bible, actually stand contrary to the Bible, or stem from a radically literal interpretation of the Bible. Yet people automatically associate this kind of thinking with Christians, unfortunately because this is the way a lot of Christians think. Basically what I'm saying is that Christians are not representative of Christianity, which is unfortunate.
  7. As the Eternal Cowboy. Then Searching for a Former Clarity. It seems like a natural progression to me.
  8. Aladdin says "take of your clothes" in the movie (near the beginning I think). Just watch it with closed captioning on. No. http://www.snopes.com/disney/films/aladdin.asp Sorry if this is a joke - I'm no good at reading Internet sarcasm.
  9. This website was used by our 11th grade Bible class teacher as real evidence that rock music had satanic influences. He also told us that Aladdin said 'good teenagers take off your clothes'. This was two years ago. Of course, going to a frighteningly conservative Christian school, this is only one of many ridiculous stories.
  10. It was looking bad to start with. Then I read the word 'transvestite'. *shudder*
  11. it was about 40 here yesterday. After a few weeks of subzero weather, I felt like busting out the shorts. Of course, this morning it was 0 again. Curse you Minnesota.
  12. Me First & the Gimme Gimmes - square Cash (from hickey) and white Kenny (from VC) Plus, I'm leaving for Cheapo in a few minutes, so today will most likely be a solid record day.
  13. Again, not to start anything, but there is more to a computer than numbers. The OS is infinitely more user friendly. For the money, a Mac is still the better computer.
  14. this page says: It'll be interesting to see what they use for DRM, as there's been no announcement from Apple or Microsoft about licensing their DRM systems. Regardless, this will fail. It is just as easy to steal music as it is to use crap like this.
  15. I have a Pro. It is a great computer. It gives me great joy to watch my roommate toil on his Dell to accomplish the same everyday tasks I do with ease, such as: ejecting a flash drive. Connecting to the Internet. Not getting a 'fatal boot error' because he started the computer with a CD in the disc drive. Those are my thoughts.
  16. But the first album had such a raw and punk feel to it. A out on an amazing show when I last saw them four years ago. Maybe so, but the production is so poor. I understand the desire to have a raw sound, but that's no excuse for subpar mixing and intentionally not mastering your record, especially when you know Solid State could have hooked them up with good production. But yes, great live show, especially the bass player. He crazy.
  17. It would have to be something the band or an outside label would initiate, as Tooth & Nail seems pretty apathetic about vinyl. Personally, I'd love to have the Fiancee on vinyl. I don't care much for the first album.
  18. I'd prefer to buy this from someone, as I have a tradelist, but am new to record collecting and am quite attached to most of my records (not that it matters, most of them are in print anyway). I'll consider anything though, just PM me.
  19. No! Want record now! NOW! As long as it takes, just so it comes out nice. Which it will, I have no doubt.
  20. You can get this directly from iTunes, too. Just right click and select get album artwork. It should do it automatically when you import CDs or MP3s. I always tried to do this with CDs, but they got all wrinkly and I couldn't peel them off good enough and the residue made the jewel cases all sticky. So I gave up on that.
  21. My A side has mewithoutYou - Brother (sun picture), and mewithoutYou - Sister (moon picture) on the B side. That's just off the top of my head, I don't remember any other special markings.
