Wow, I had some new found respect for Metallica after Death Magnetic came out. But I'm not sure what the hell they were thinking with this crap. Its fucking terrible. Even if no one was singing it would still be the worst rock album to come out in a long time. Then you have Lou Reed reading some 12 year old's terrible poetry on top of it, and I lose all respect again. Thank god for Kill em All, Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, & and Justice for All.

Thanks for the recognition man. We definitely tried to make this as deluxe as possible, because we love these albums and this band so much. Its been great for me to work closely with Toby Driver for the past year on a few different projects, but this one has been the most exciting. There's so much symbolism in the songs and packaging. I think this is going to be the quintessential version of these.

No, I'm releasing their first (My Fruit Psychobells...) on vinyl next year. The only vinyl out now is Part the Second, which I released last year. Still have a few copies of it in stock on all colors, though the blue swirl is about to sell out.

ouch! thought it included their first album too for that price. why so expensive for a 4LP + 7"? remastering for vinyl and licensing costs? Yes, license fees, remastering fees, heavy vinyl, foil stamped boxes, extra 7" adds quite a bit, poster, mp3 download cards and hosting, the list goes on. Just be glad we didn't decide to only do 300. The price would be $30 more.

Its actually just 2 full length albums and a 7", but there's 4 12"s in there! I can't wait to see what Toby comes up with for the poster. Also, he's making brand new art for the 7" package too.

Friday, October 21st you will be able to preorder the upcoming maudlin of the Well box set for Bath & Leaving Your Body Map. Here are the details of the set: -Strictly limited to 500 copies, 250 for US and Canada (Antithetic), 250 for the rest of the world (Blood Music). Its crazy to think this will be around $200 when the Slayer box set was on sale for like $140 from their site, with more records in it. And I second all the comments about putting out this box after individually releasing them. Total dick move.

I was trying to get Roadrunner to license a repress of Cynic to my label, but their entire catalog is licensed to Cargo Records. I haven't approached Cargo about it yet. I'm assuming they'll either shoot me down or want some ridiculous license fee for it. But, you never know.

They're playing in my town in late November, really excited to finally get to meet them and see them play live for the first time too. Should be an awesome show.

The preorder for the remastered vinyl of Terzij de Horde "A Rage of Rapture Against the Dying of the Light" is now live in our store. These are being pressed now and will be shipping no later than the week of September 12th. For those who aren't familiar, these guys are a black/doom metal back from The Netherlands and are for fans of Altar of Plagues, Deathspell Omega, Thou, Wolves in the Throne Room, Khanate and 16 Horsepower, among others.
