deleted some records people sold/traded to me in the last few days. still searching for the others in my list

holy crap, 12mil. where do they actually sell bags that thick. i actually prefer resealable ones for records that are valuable and i wont listen to. records that get listened to go in regular bags.

Im kinda glad this thread got resurrected. Anybody notice that when you buy something on ebay and you get a really good deal(like pay waaay less than the records worth), the seller always does a bad packaging job. I hate when that shit happens. That even happens alot when i pay market value for a record. When a record is worth over say $20, dont just throw it in a large Lp mailer box with no plastic sleeve, no bubble wrap, no other protection. Its moves around like crazy and the cover gets completely fucked up. Your NM record now suddenly looks like crap.

We all have some limits. But i guess if someones "white whale" hits ebay your limit go down the drain. especially if its something that you rarely ever see for sale.

For anyone who lives in the NY/NJ area and has a Shoprite supermarket nearby, they have bottles of Goo Gone on sale for $1.99 this week. I was there today and picked up a couple. I always use a Q-tip to apply Goo Gone to stickers that need removing. Seems to work best for applying it.

The 1 per customer is fine WHEN you only press 1 color of the record. But when you decide to press multiple colors(to cash in on the collector's market) and limit 1 you're screwing over the same people who are putting money in your pockets. So in a way you cant have it both ways, so to speak. Plus people are going to try and get around the limit 1 by getting their friends/family to buy extras for them. Personally i say screw the limits, 1st come 1st serve(you snooze, you lose). This "ebay craze" aint going to last forever. Eventually people are going to be stuck with extra records they cant get rid of and will no longer buy multiples just to sell(go look at the Gimme Gimmes square record prices now on ebay, people cant get rid of them). On a side note, ive never seen Virgil ever put a limit on stuff in his distro. He probably dont give a shit if you order 5 or even 10 of some record.
