At this point I'm leaning towards the Touch, but it's still a tough call... Currently I have a first gen Ipod photo with 50 gigs and it has been a workhorse since day one. When I worked in shipping/receiving I played it all day every day in addition to never stepping foot outdoors without it. I still use it a couple hours every day. So I'm not too concerned with first gen apple products unless there is something specifically dodgy about the current ipod touches...

I asked a guy at London Drugs about the Ipod Touches and he said he sees a lot get returned as defective. That could either be a problem, or just that most people are too retarded to use them. And from working at HMV and seeing all the retards bring back "DVDs that don't work" I'm inclined to believe the latter. But it's still a concern.

I have some gift cards to put towards a new ipod and I can't decide between the 16 gig touch and the 160 gig classic. Anybody have a recommendation? I have the pros and cons worked out as follows: 16 Gig Touch: +- Not as much space, but not as much needed, because I can store everything on my hard drive and load the ipod with the music I am actually listening to. 160 Gig Classic: +- Tons of space, but then I'm always scrolling forever to find whatever I'm currently into. Is the fancy pants touch ipod worth the extra cash?

New one's been growing on me slowly. Even though I didn't like it at first, I kept going back to it. "I Am The Movie" has gotta be the least deserving of their albums to have vinyl treatment...

I don't know... I think the 3 Ali G characters have resulted in some of this era's best satire. Borat and Bruno in particular are amazing how they can expose people's prejudices and ignorance. Much respect for SBC. If nothing else, he is the bravest man in the world for doing a quarter of the shit he does.

I stared at the screen for about 20 minutes trying to decide between the VC exclusive colour and sky blue. I went with sky blue. I like solid colours more and this is a more unusual colour scheme.

My friend who works at a record store gave me a Hail To The Thief LP he wrote off. I don't care for Radiohead at all. A quick look at ebay shows one being sold BIN for $50 and one listed in Australia at $5. Should I list it? Does anyone want to trade for it?

I just won Guilt Show on ebay for $13. I didn't expect to win the auction because I thought this record pretty rare. I've seen it around on black but never on red. Does anyone know more about it?

I always figured I had "The New What Next" on orange. That's what I've been calling it until I looked at the No Idea Discography page: 1st Pressing: (2,005 total) 500 Red, 500 Gold, 500 Clear, 500 White (11/04) 1st Pressing Variants: 5 Orange, 1 Vanilla Bean, 1 Gold/clear/red w/black, 2 Unflushed Toilet, Black & White explosion, 2 Red & White explosion, 3 White w/black (Black streaks or a grey haze. Do I actually have one of 5 on orange, or do I actually have gold? To compare, I'm also attaching my Rehasher LP which I know is called orange.

My only suggestion is that Virgil take the top 3 suggestions that he likes the most and lets us vote on those 3. Otherwise this is going to get out of hand and every colour possibility ever will be mentioned here. Personally I back solid colours or a half & half.

Finally arrived today! Sounds gorgeous on 180 gram vinyl. Matt's voice has never sounded better. I ordered this in August.

I didn't buy the box set because I didn't want to pay $30 to only spin Hot Damn. So I'm all in favour of individual pressings so I can buy Hot Damn at the $10ish price range.
