Im pretty sure I read an interview with Tom that said all AM! albums are available on vinyl and always will be. So the question isn't if no idea will stop pressing it but whether they are under some ethical obligation to stop changing the colours. Thoughts?

what's shady about deep elm? I have heard this mentioned before, but I used to talk to those guys regularly when I ran a zine and they were always good dudes to me. Best deep elm band now: 500 miles to Memphis track a tiger is good too.

I'm going to double-post for the sake of The Academy Is and Roses Are Red. On that note, very few bands can pull off the 'full sentence' band name. The only exception that comes to mind is This Is Hell. As much as I love Paint It Black, I dislike the name because I hate the Rolling Stones song.

I can't believe The Color Fred hasn't been mentioned by the end of page 1.

I wish the shirt said "Trust Sayid". Sayid is my favourite character. Anything he does his badass and anytime he has a hunch he is right. I'm liking Locke less and less as the show progresses.

For the Drag The River records ... I think red looks the best. Too bad.

I can't seem to find access to this Hometown Caravan distro, but I found that the s/t album was pressed in Europe and Defiance Records stocks it. I haven't verified the new album yet though...

A couple quick searches and I can't find any sign of Solea on vinyl. Does anybody know if such a thing exists?

The PDF onesheet says "LP available on limited white vinyl". If the colours are simply white (limited) and black (unlimited or less limited) that sure is anticlimactic.

I would love to see this. But after looking up the track list, I am confused about why there is so much Copper Blue material and nothing else from the Sugar library. Also one song from self-titled Bob Mould but nothing from The Last Dog and Pony Show. hmmmm

Definitely getting this. I was super disappointed when the plans to release "Walking Papers" on vinyl fell through. My fingers are crossed that this new label manages to pick up the pieces for that.

I have a copy of Teenage Bottlerocket "Another Way" (One Legged Pup Records, 2003). It's black vinyl. I would prefer to trade it for something I will actually listen to. I've played this one maybe twice.

Limited to 60 copies? Wow, how did you find that out? And I wonder how my local shop got one. I guess if I don't like the record it will be a good trade...

Yesterday I picked up a copy of the new 108 LP on Deathwish. The cover artwork is not the same as what is shown on Deathwish's discography, and my copy is on solid red, which is not listed with the first pressing colour variants. Does anybody know if this is on a second pressing now, and what the numbers are?

I have to add my own pet peeve to this: people who say "vinyl" is the plural of "vinyl". Vinyl doesn't have a plural. It's a non-count noun so it takes a partitive noun like "pieces of vinyl" that can be made plural. Just like "water" is not the plural of "water" and "air" is not the plural of "air". I have a million grammar pet peeves. I'm a grammar and writing teacher...

I saw this at my local record store yesterday. I think it's around $15 Canadian. One concern may be the shrinkwrap on the screened cover looks like it was done so tightly that it's been bent around the edges a little. Let me know if you want me to investigate further.
