what do British labels/distros hate decent mailers
somewhereintime replied to flood's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
As long as the record/sleeve arrive in good condition it surely don't make any difference? You can get thicker mailers here, but then the price of the post will go up to cover the expense of better packing, also the extra weight and then even moreso at the end of april when postage actually goes up. That bitch who fucked up Canada Post is now in charge of the Royal Mail here -

records damaged in a basement flood....

directline - apparently they do a one for a "collection" and it says coins, records etc as examples of what collections. its £30 a month, but that includes house contents insurance too. Personal fraud/Mobile phone and personal cash up to something like £50 when your out and about. -

Green Day - Awesome As F**k 2XLP

So true, and I wouldn't even just limit it to the "skate punk" bands. Checkout the new issue of Cometbus for a "tour" diary by Aaron of them in Asia, interesting insight. -
Record Store Day 2011 Thread - April 16
somewhereintime replied to suchashorttime's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
no because most records these days come with a free download card or code. : would you rather if not come with one. : there is zero irony with this because theyre not selling just a digital download. : yea, but the whole ideal behind RSD is to support Record Stores, which is apparently being killed by people downloading, whether illegal or otherwise. id rather not/wont buy anything by Queen, so thats not a problem. -

what a load of shit. postage over the winter was shocking in the UK, cause of the weather, no doubt europe to. also of recent things are getting held up due to terrorism on the USA end, took a month for a package to be delievered from me to a friend in ohio, usually takes 6 days. if he needed to do it to "remember" why didnt he just write it down?
