Nothing confirmed yet but its still in the works, Smartpunk are talking about limited merch items, screen printed posters or special limited records....

Special limited records seems a bit counter-intuitive right?

Like an extra 7" ? That would be a bit surprising. Can't even imagine what it would have if it's going to relate to Anthem/B-Sides. Maybe an acoustic 7" with the couple songs they released prior to the original B Is for B-Sides album release. I think it was Sleep It Off and Portrait of a Cigarette Smoker.

  2. The listing Smartpunk has for B-Sides (still not sold out in the US) has updated press numbers as well for the original press, and mentions two more variants for a second press.

I'm guessing Anthem's numbers are the same or larger since that one is totally sold out, and will probably have similar style variants for a 2nd press.

Loving this concept and hoping they do it for more albums...like, a series through their entire discography with accompanying vinyl releases. I could see that happening with the lack of shows until next year.

On the facebook or instagram post about it, someone posted something along those lines and Anberlin responded saying that would be a reasonable expectation, so looks like that may be the case. I think everyone was just surprised that Blackmarket was the album chosen after they did the poll on their website.

The sound was actually pretty good on their acoustic set a few weeks ago. I imagine if they record it like they would a live show it’ll sound decent on vinyl as well, you’ll just miss the crowd noise which may be a little strange.

Yea, they've been doing all these streams at The Attic in Ybor (Tampa), so no reason it won't sound like a live studio recording. I caught their acoustic show a couple years ago at the Attic in person and it was top notch. IF the streaming audio is what somehow gets pressed on to vinyl instead of the direct feed from the soundboard/rig (I would hope they have a Pro Tools rig or similar to record), well that would be a big facepalm all around. It'll just sound cleaner than the NYC live shows since theirs no audience like you said.

Anyone who likes Clowns Nature/ Nurture. DeepDiscount has a clear with red for $14 https://www.deepdiscount.com/nature-nurture/602577414121

    It's supposedly this release https://www.discogs.com/Clowns-Nature-Nurture/release/13536793

Awesome! Ordered! Listened to this on a random whim when Fat first released it and immediately fell in love with them. Not my usual cup of tea but have really enjoyed it.

I received a record like that yesterday. My regular postal worker was usually here all the time, but I've noticed that she is now on this route only a few times a week since the shelter in place began. It's a bummer because she was/is the best!

Yup, I can always tell when it's not the regular person on my route. We have like a gate right before a screen door and like a little entrance area in front of the actual door. She'll always leave packages next to the front door, where you can't see them from the street, and they're protected from the sun/rain (FL, rains all the time in the summer). When it's not her, they will leave packages in the spokes of the gate, in the sun and exposed to the rain. Annoying as fuck.

It's also super annoying from a seller standpoint, because although I let all of my buyers know that Media Mail is significantly delayed, I've had a few buyers freak out when their package is scanned twice and then no scans for two weeks. As if I drove to Michigan, retrieved the package and kept it or something. After selling on discogs for the better part of a decade, I've received less than positive feedback for the first time, twice, in the last two months. Both buyers received their records without damage within a month with $4 media mail shipping, but they left negative feedback because it "never took that long before".

That's shitty. I've been messaging buyers saying the same, hey media mail is super delayed, please don't be surprised it takes a while. Had one that took over a month to arrive with no scans, but thankfully they were cool about it and understanding.
