I never listen to the radio. Only my iPod, iPhone, CD's or records. My GF has started listening to the radio in the car again and made me listen to that Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros song called "Home" that's been heavily playing and that she likes, and damn it's a great song. I'm hooked! I got the album that the song is on and it's really, really disappointing. Very boring album. That one song is great though Seems like it's always like that when I hear a song that I like on the radio. The rest of the album blows! WTF.

Here's the deal. When I first joined the board when it was created, i tried listening to bands everyone were into. I thought hey sucked. So I've been pretty much ignoring everything that everyone gets stoked about. I have downloaded the free comps that Virgil puts out but frankly never got around to listen to them. Well I just restored my iPod and decided to create a playlist for all albums i had but couldn't remember listening to, that I didn't like on first listen or that i knew I had never even listened to. I started by listening to some of Virgil's compilations. OMFG!!!!!!!!! How did I miss all that great stuff? Fake Problems, Drag The River, Mike Hale, Tim Barry, Austin Lucas, Chad Price, In The Red, Sparta to name a few... WTF! To Virgil: Thanks for putting out such great music. I definitely missed out on the awesomeness for being such a music snob, but no more! Thank you for sending me the Sparta album in my WHATEVER, I never would've given it a chance otherwise. Sorry for being such a shithead sometimes guys. You all have great taste ..had to rant and say thanks, sorry for the longass post. EDITED: I build a long Christmas want list for my girlfriend. also if there's some of her pictures that she is particularly proud of, you could get them framed and save a spot for them on the wall or even empty frame for her future masterpieces and dedicate a wall to her art would be kinda cool

haha also i was just kidding. if she develops her pictures herself, see if she needs soemthing specific for her black room. You could make her a nice gift basket with lots of supplies that would end up being costly too.

amsterdamned Your stupidity amazes me. "External" hard drives are 98% of the time just a regular hard drive inside an enclosure that will do sata-to-usb or ide-to-usb (or scsi to usb if you must). Which is what makes it """external""". Pop it out of the enclosure, stick it inside your computer case and VOILA. Internal hard drive. Although I have seen some of them that it's virtually impossible to take out of the external enclosure.

finally got mine today! got a Sparta - Three 2xLP on white and also The Banner record. I started playing The Banner because there's no indication on the sleeve or on the record/gatefold of what the heck it is. Had to play another record to make sure my turntable played correctly! I'll give it another try later, also can't decide if it sounds better at 33RPM or 45RPM I'm playing Sparta right now and I'm pleasantly surprised. I hadn't heard them before, really good so far. I'm finishing side A as we speak Definitely worth the $5. Tempted to place another order

we got our 2 year old from the MN Homeward bound and he was fixed, but he's still insane. Akita mixed with a husky we also got a 2 year old female yellow lab from a friend of the family that lost her house so she couldn't take care of her anymore, fixed as well
