  1. this. So much. Best dudes. and so passionate. Their third show as a band happened in my basement, so its super weird, but so awesome to see them getting so big. They definitely deserve it. Also, snagged an aqua/white swirl. Agree that it looks best with the artwork.
  2. Like someone previously said, when the whole Brock thing happened, Jesse was convinced that Huell had lifted the cigarettes with the Ricin while bumping into him, but then Walter convinced him that it was Gus that stole it. I think what happened is just that Huell stole the weed in the exact same way, so it made Jesse realize that the Ricin getting stolen HAD happened how he originally thought, and Walter had lied to him (yet again.)
  3. Reading that NYTimes article made me so sad / made me hate people a LOT. I don't even like Skyler that much as a character, but seriously what the fuck is wrong with people?
  4. Don't listen to too much black metal in general, but I do really enjoy Wolves in the Throne Room and Deafheaven.

But they're my favorite band, soooo.
  6. Stop using f****t as a derogatory term. That is my only contribution to this thread.
  7. Not a failed musician quite yet. haha Have played music since I was in like 4th grade. Started with drums, but now I also play guitar, keys, and bass(kind of), as well as a few other random instruments I can play, but hardly ever do (banjo, ukulele) Been in bands with friends on and off since like 7th grade. The band i'm currently in just recorded an album a few months ago, and our friend who just graduated from college with a degree in audio production produced it for us, and it turned out awesome and im so excited. Releasing it in exactly 3 weeks now. Cant wait.
  8. also, Hammock recently released their album Maybe They Will Sing For Us Tomorrow, which is one of my favorite ambient albums, on vinyl. it's kind of pricey, but the packaging is very well put together, it's remastered, and the vinyl is very solid and sounds incredible.
  9. Shit man. My condolences. I can definitely relate to some of these though. One of my best friends killed himself in February, and 4 and 5 are definitely something ive been doing as well. I'm glad you've been able to make the best of such a negative experience and use it to make positive changes in your life though.
  10. A friend showed me this and I thought it was hilarious.
  11. I love the cinematography on Breaking Bad in general, but this shot really stuck out to me. Daaaaamn.
  12. THIS. so much. Also, Wolf would make a lot of sense since they're still friends, and since they don't have a bass player. Would be so stoked
  13. yup. today they posted this video and message. "Thank you. To everyone on this planet Earth that has ever supported us, helped us, watched us, hung out with us, given us a place to stay, given food, prayed over us, loaned us equipment, advised us, booked us, or given us a chance, no matter how big or small...we are forever grateful."
  14. Also, speaking of injuries at Chariot shows, In their first DVD, Ladies and Gentlemen: the Chariot, there is footage of them playing at a skating rink, and the guitar player breaks his leg, and they just finish the set with him on the ground with a snapped leg, if im recalling correctly.
  15. Fuck. This is definitely the most bummed i've ever been about a band breakup. Goodnight my friends, and a forever farewell.
  16. Haven't listened to this in full yet, but Earl is definitely the most talented member of OF in my opinion. stoked to give this a full listen through
