  1. I can sell these, but unfortunately I don't work in Toronto (coop job) right now cuz I'm back to school in Waterloo. Any ideas?
  2. Thanks dude. I really hate to part with it . I'll probably end up rebuying a lot of this stuff at some point, but I guess my education comes first.
  3. Hey everyone, I (very, very, very) reluctantly have to do this, but school is just destroying my bank account, so I have to begin to sell off my records. There's some really good stuff in here including: Moneen - The Red Tree Thrice - Illusion of Safety (gold) Thursday - War All the Time Circa Survive - Juturna (green and white) Circa Survive - Inuit Sessions (pink w/ etching) Circa Survive - On Letting Go (pic disc with custom OhioPride cover) Texas is the Reason - Do You Know Who You Are (clear red) Make some offers, and don't lowball me, because these bids simply will not be taken seriously. I'll be home this weekend, so I'll be mailing out the records that we've come to an agreement on by Sunday night, or at the latest, on Monday afternoon. Shipping is from Canada, so keep that in mind (it'll add about $10 to orders). I'd ideally not want to send out individual 7 inches either, so keep that in mind. My list is in my signature, and there's pictures to almost every one of my records. For those wondering, the Thrice (Illusion) record, I have, but it's not listed on my tradelist, and there's a few others, but that's by far the most important not listed. I'll update my list fully when I go home this weekend. Have at it! Sold records list: Minus the Bear - They Make Beer Commercials Like This (fruity pebbles splatter) Minus the Bear - Planet of Ice (2xLP clear with grey splatter) Minus the Bear - Highly Refined Pirates (orange) The Fall of Troy - Doppelganger (white/black) Moneen - The Red Tree Thrice - Illusion of Safety (gold) P. TM - Church Mouth (purple and cream) P. TM - Waiter: You Vultures! (clear with gold splatter) P. TM - The Satanic Satanist (orange and yellow) Circa Survive - Juturna (green/white) Thursday - War All the Time Minus the Bear - Menos El Oso Funeral for a Friend - Casually Dressed and Deep in Conversation
  4. Food - Blue Cactus and Zak's (24 hour diner) are both in the Byward Market Bars - Heart and Crown, Zaphods, and Patty Boland's Love the city. I forget the names of the record stores but I think they're all in this thread somewhere. Have a good time! Everything cool in Ottawa is basically in the Byward Market area, so if you're down there, there's quite a bit to do.
  5. I may be proof that it exists. Problem is we had to hike 6 miles to the closest bus stop to get to the one room school house, so a lot of us didn't make it.
  6. I wonder if it's Virgil trying to clear out the remaining Heavyheavylowlow and Trustkill/Ferret records.
  7. ^ wow.. that was brutal. That's an immediate concussion.
  8. Sorry to hear buddy. Our dog got hit by a car last year, and it was just horrible to go through. Dogs have such a way to affect your lives, and it's just devastating to lose one. Feel better soon man.
  9. Wow, haven't posted on this forum in a few weeks but god damn this thread is epic. Shit's gone down in my semi-absence.
  10. Wow, I will travel a long way to see this. Maybe it'll come to Canada? Toronto? I'd gladly buy the tickets, put myself up in a hotel for a night to see this. It's gonna be epic.
  11. Burrito for lunch. Chicken, lettuce, grilled peppers and onion, shredded jack and cheddar, corn, black beans, spicy salsa, hot sauce, light sour cream and then grilled. mmmm, want another one.
  12. Can you just play the battle mode like in the original game (the melee style game) or is it all story based?
  13. Jimmy Eat World Pavement Sleigh Bells Temper Trap Yeasayer Looks alright to me... I'd go if I lived anywhere remotely near it.
  14. You can't say you're an intelligence elitist and spell inadvertently wrong in the same paragraph. You just can't. SPELLING DOUCHE!
  15. The movie should be about the rise and inevitable fall of The Paramedic. Moving units just isn't enough these days, and the fat one delves deeply into drugs, women of the night, and ends up in an insane asylum. Ice Nine Kills, Brokencyde, and The Paramedic should provide the soundtrack. Eventually, The Paramedic picks up the pieces, and plays a reunion show at the Sbarro in a local mall to hundreds of 12 year old girls.
  16. If you can... head up north an hour and a half to beautiful Pembroke/Beachburg, Ontario for white water rafting! I'm going there this weekend (leaving tomorrow). It's supposed to be amazing. The company is called "Wilderness Tours" if you're so inclined to check it out. I lived in Ottawa for 4 months on a coop term and absolutely loved it. Really cool city, awesome night-life/bar scene (ie. live bands and not-so-douchey people). Most of the bars are basically pubs with a "dance floor" and it was a lot of fun going out at night in that city at the Byward Market. "Heart and Crown", "Pier 21", and "Zaphods" were my favorites. Also, check out "Zaks" for an all night diner if you do end up going out, and want some awesome food at 2-3 in the morning. It's all right in the Byward Market. Aside from the night life, there are a few record stores in the general area (all have been listed), and Parliament Hill is pretty cool (they do tours and stuff obviously). There is quite a bit to do if you're only there for a few days.
  17. I'm a douche because I put a bit of hair-paste in every morning, mostly because if I don't I look like I'm 12. What of it? Also, I find a lot of very offensive things hilarious, and even more so when people around don't think it's very funny.
  18. Watched it on the weekend. Not bad... but I didn't get all the hype. I mean, don't get me wrong, solid film, but I didn't think it was ridiculous or anything.
