  1. I have 85% of weekends off. I work 40 hours a week sometimes a little more if needed. I get 7-8 Paid Holidays a year. I accrue 6 hours of Paid Time Off (PTO) every 2 weeks. Currently I have 60 hours of PTO which I will use around Christmas time with the 4 days they give us off in hopes to only work maybe 1 week of December
  2. I will admit the Technics table is nice. You can also pick up something like a Pioneer PL-7 for cheap and throw a nice cartridge/stylus on it. I had a pro-ject and was not overall impressed with the build. I then picked up fully refurbished PL-7 for $75 and threw a Grado Black cartridge on it and it sound beautiful. I was running it through a Marantz 2216B and a pair of polk monitor 50's. The PL-7 is fully automatic but you can manually use it if you please. Solid TT on a budget. If your looking for a vintage TT let me know and I can possibly put you in touch with some people who can give you a good deal on something depending on what you are looking for.
  3. Craigslist is hit or miss. Where are you located and what are you looking to spend? Craigslist is great and so is ebay (just remember with ebay your gonna pay more than what its worth usually since you have to factor in shipping). Picked up my Pioneer SX-980 for $75 on craigslist. I just had my Marantz 2216B crap out on me due to my friends kid spilling Kool-aid on it >.>. I paid $2.00 for it an an estate sale. Also one last thing, I know your collection is growing, but don't ruin it by running it on a crappy table with a shitty cartridge/needle. Save some of that record money and put it towards a nice table. You'll be pleased with it and in the end would (should) achieve a greater sound.
  4. That's crazy. I bet each person had about 5 times the daily average sodium intake. My wife enjoys OG and I hate it. The only thing I find enjoyable are the breadsticks. They are great after I wipe them down with a towel from all the butter and salt on it.
  5. Even though I said I wasn't going to order anything this month the price was too nice to pass up. Picked it up on Black as well.
  6. 90% of everything people buy that's limited gets sold for more. In no way do I want to be rude, but if this were the case I could find The Moon Is Down for $20.
  7. I think $25 is fair Adam. Two have sold on ebay for $40. One is currently @ $25 and some change with days left.
  8. Here it is! Playing it now and the sound quality is great.
  9. wow, nice. did you get a shipping notification earlier this week? Received my shipping notification on Sunday.
  10. Received mine in the mail today. Will post pics in a few mins. @Matt I had to update my shipping address too and he did it.
  11. Taking offers on the 7" green The Wonder Years from the Alternative Press subscription. Never Played and not warped. No seam splits. Also have the Blink 182 - Enema of the State SRC Exclusive 163/182 Might be interested in parting with it. Have not played it yet, no seam splits.
  12. If you can afford it. I'd recommend the Denon 103. Beautiful Sounding. It is a MC cart. Theres a few sites you can get it for around $120. Usually retails around $200ish. If not I'd recommend a Grado Green or Black. If you really don't want to spend a lot. These carts sound pretty good for the price. It's cheap but sounds as good as a Shure M97x http://www.edsaunders.com/reded.htm
  13. What is your budget? Tbh I'd stay away from the Shure m97. While its decent for the price there are far superior cartridges that are within this range. While I'll probably get blasted for posting this about this cartridge you can find way better for a few bucks more. What do you currently have on your TT?
  14. that is definitley it. but i don't think "riverside blue with gold splatter" should come out to be clear with piss yellow mixed with a little bit of baby shit and blue icee. that color really looks horrible. when you look at them none of the colors look like what they were supposed to be and advertised as. "maroon clay with gold marble" came out to be maroon with black streaks and "gold rush yellow" came out to be orange. i wonder if black will actually be black. this guy really failed at pretty much every aspect of this release. willing to be quite a few people will be disappointed with this once they finally get it too, which is the biggest bummer about pretenious assholes like this running a business that releases music in some shape or form. I admit I'm displeased with the way its been going with this release. As for color I actually enjoyed the "riverside blue w/gold splatter" and the way it looks. I don't care about what it looks like tbh. I'd rather it sound great (which I hope it does). I bought it for the music not the colors. Just my thoughts on it.
