I'm not in to any of the Mondo stuff, just checked out this thread due to it being bumped so many times. I will say that I find it both hilarious and ridiculous that this company is selling VHS tapes for $25. Also hilarious, ridiculous and sad that they are doing variants for said VHS tapes. Sorry all, just wanted to vent, carry on.

Looking forward to all these upcoming records. I'm thinking I'm gonna have a hard time tracking down that Night Goat reissue. Guess I should just shut up and be happy with my original but I know that won't happen.

I wish all the records I buy were released through Robotic Empire (as well as Mylene Sheath and AmRep).

I went to both their headlining shows in SF. I can die happy now. Tour CDs are $10. Shirts are $30 (girls shirts $20). They have signed posters for $100 as well. Shows were truly amazing. Can't even put it into words right now. They played a different new song last night and I believe it's called Focus.

He is a big music buyer/collector himself and talks about it regularly during spoken word shows. I actually sold him a rare old punk single on Discogs a while back so once again, don't take his article so seriously. Read it, get a laugh and then move on to listening to some music.

I don't know how much you like them but if I were you, I would just go to the show. The ticket prices are fair. Failure is one of my all time favorite bands so I'm a little biased.
