  1. User vinyljunkie has Stealing the Pocket for sale at a good price: http://www.vinyljunkiedistro.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=19&products_id=4703 Every cover is different.
  2. Ha! Those numbers were all done screwy, I also have a #1 Perfectly Good Dishwasher. Do some searching on the internet and you'll find more info on the #ing.
  3. Thanks Justin, I've got the House of Fire stuff and think you meant Black Cougar Shock Unit, who are good but should sound more like old school Atlanta Quadiliacha!
  4. Yeah, I used to see this record in cheapie bins everywhere and now that I've gotten around to picking it up I can't find it cheap. Eroc, besides GBU and RtM, what else am I missing: Weston A Real-life Story of Teenage Rebellion 12” Weston Flower b/w Feelings Stupid Feelings 7” Weston Matinee 12” Weston Perfectly Good Dishwasher 7” Weston Teenage Love Affair 7” Weston Thursdaytown 1981 7” Weston/ Bouncing Souls split 7” Weston/ Digger Wilkum to Pennsylvania 7” Weston/ Doc Hopper The Stepchildren of Rock 2x12” Weston/ Plow United split 7” Weston/ Sticks and Stones split 7” V/a Music Does A Body Good 12"
  5. Help me revive high school memories and look for GOT BEAT UP 12" (Go Kart) What about RETURN TO MONO.... does it touch any of the earlier stuff? If so, I'm also looking for that.
  6. Just started listening to Super Chinchilla Rescue Mission and Super Hi-Five again... Let's see if you can recommend me some spirited blue collar tunes/bands in this vein (from any era). Bonus points for Pegboy or Leatherface references.
  7. If you didn't get into the live shows, you had bad luck. Anyone who saw this band play (clotherd or otherwise) in a sweaty Denver garage/basement/living room can attest to the intenseness. The only time I ever saw them outside of Denver or a festival was partially depressing: in Port Jervis, NJ to a dozen people -- two of us who loved it -- with the band still giving it their all. The problem with Planes was always that they needed to 'make it' to support themselves. You read between the lines.
  8. Holy crap Manwithoutplan is playing again? Intrigued.
  9. I don't remember/know all the Knucklehead albums, but I liked the Far Out full length (their debut, I think) better than the followup. I loved the mid 90's Far Out stuff! I need to dig up the (post ska) Sam the Butcher LP that came out towards the end, really remember the first track killing it. I'm sure Virgil could come up with some good Tim and Lisa stories once the Friday brews start flowing.
  10. that sounds made up! John Kerry called and wants his flip flops back. ...ugghh that hurt to even write
  11. I really liked this band and still have the CDs but never picked up the vinyl. Always thought they should do a split with Canada's KNUCKLEHEAD. Virgil, I could be making stuff up but I think you and I once argued in the Bakamono basement about who was better the BELTONES or the BELLRAYS... and I'm still sticking with the former!
  12. Rats, I can't find out if this is the same old master. Also, here's a request of a largish new release Beirut - March Of The Zapotec 2x12" - Obey Your Brain Records wholesale seems to be cheap since places are listing it for under $17 and older stuff I think could might still be found on some sleepy distributor's dusty shelves: Weston - Got Beat Up 12" - Go-Kart Scared of Chaka - Hutch Brown Sayngwich 12" - 702 Scared of Chaka - Masonic Youth 12" - Empty

  14. The one day I'm not work I'm stuck with easy songs. I'll trade someone my loot for a shitty 7".
  15. Jewel - You Were Meant For Me, Weezer- Say it ain't so, Tom Petty - Free Falling
  16. While I have a captive audience.... 17. GREAT record. Took me a while to get these despite buying the CD when it came out.
  18. Never had a problem. Gary usually emails you when things have shipped so I'd email him directly and check out what the deal is. He's probably out of town and so that's why there's a delay
  19. Am I the only one not willing to pay as much for a 2k run 7"? Honestly, the larger the run, the more will end up in the sale/trade forum for cheap (once the noobs realize that flipping these is not cost effective) so there's less incentive to buy direct (which is always the best thing for the band/label). If a band warrants 2k, press that many, but maybe pass some of the savings on to the customer.
  20. Can't call the hotline, but I always thought nothing topped Nines & Sixes. Just listening to the new tracks now and I'd probably pick this up... even though there are a couple of stinkers (to my ears) up on the myspace
  21. Thanks, will need to track down the s/t now! Now I just need to find out if Hooton 3 Car - By Means of Maybe was ever put out on vinyl.
  22. Is that the s/t HDQ 12"? Someone once told me it wasn't pressed on vinyl, so I need confirmation (and a copy). Also, what's the bottom comp?
  23. holy crap, really? If anyone wants this for the current bid price, I'll sell you mine. PM.
