  1. yeah, the Euro tour press is what i was talking about. Forgive me, cause I am kinda a newbie around these parts, but, "w. members of the board"? I dont know what/who/where that is. thanks so much guys. -Z
  2. I have heard about a Euro pressing of How Far Our Bodies Go. Is anyone going to any of the shows on their European tour and be willing to pick me up a copy? I would gladly reimburse you the cost of the record and shipping and a little extra for your effort. Just PM me if you'd be down to help me out. - Z
  3. +1 for you, that YMG 7" is so good. Holy crap, I just realized you were in Benard. I love your band's record (the guys from Dear Tonight turned me on to you). If I could give you more karma now I would for being in such a rad band. Dude, thanks so much for those kind words. Pete and Randy are some of my favorite people ever, it sucks that Dear Tonight is throwing in the towell. But at least Young Hearts are still around. We've got a new 7" coming out in like, less than a month with an incredible band from Charlottesville, VA called Worn in Red, just as a dumb little plug..
  4. for sure. You wouldnt happen to know where i can get a copy of their tour CD they had when they were out last summer? I really like those songs and would love to be able to listen to them in my car, and not just on myspace.
  5. nothing too spectacular, I've only been in the whole collecting thing for a year, but for being unemployed for 11 months of those....
  6. yeah, they fucking killed it at the Fest this past year. And the Fest 5 as well. My band played with them the night before the Fest 5 started in Atlanta and they fucking killed it there to. Needless to say, I really like this band.
  7. Thanks to everyone who had taken some of these off my hands. I still have a bunch left for anyone interested So I have a lot of CDs that I really don’t like, or have on vinyl, or will never listen to ever again. So I want to get rid of them to help cover touring costs and the man of leisure lifestyle I am currently leading. So, that’s where you come in. All CDs are $5 unless otherwise noted. If a cd is only $1, it’s because I only have the CD and the insert in a Slim Case. Shipping is no issue, $2.00 for the first, and then 50 cents every for every extra one. I can do about 5 or 6 CDs per package. Anything more than than and I’ll have to get you a new shipping price. They are all in good condition. Some of these I haven’t listened to in a long time, but I know they all still play, etc etc. If you are really interested in buying them all, I’ll sell all of them for $500ish. Make me an offer. Make me offers if you want a bunch. These are doing me no good just sitting on a shelf when i could be buying actual records and not sitting around Atlanta doing shit. 8. Yeah, seriously less than 2 minutes after I got the No Idea Newsletter i was on their site ordering the record. I have the fest pressing and it, with Young Livers, is seriously one of the best No Idea records in a long looooooong time. stoked
  9. There may be a thread similar to this out there, but I am kind of new 'round here. So, sorry if some of you have already gone through this. But, I am a music nerd, and one thing about music nerds is that they love to make lists. And seeing as how I am surrounded by music nerds on here, i figured a lot of you guys like to do the same. I suppose they don't have to be Ten Favorite Records on Vinyl, because I actually dont have a copy of my favorite record on Wax (speaking of, if you have it and want to park with it, i'd, i'd just love your forever). Full lengths and EPs included. So, anyways, all time top 10. 10. Latterman - ...We Are Still Alive! - I have probably listened to this record at least once a week since September 2006. The Fest V was the only time i got to see them, which is a bummer. 9. The Bronx - II - Rock n roll the way it is suppose to be these days. 8. Fake Problems - How Far Our Bodies Go - I know this is a new release, but I haven't been so floored about a record in a long, long time. 7. Against Me - Reinventing Axl Rose - This record totally changed the way that I thought about DIY music, and even changed some of my ideas on punk rock 6. Army of Ponch - ...Vs. the Curse - Only three songs, better than most full lengths out there. 5. Lawrence Arms - Present Day Memories - I love the Lawrence Arms, but they are kind of a mix-tape band for me. All their records are great, but their isnt a full length that i absolutely love from beginning to end. These were the LA songs that got me into the band; I dont think I've ever actually listened to the Chinkies songs on this. 4.Propagandhi - How To Clean Everything - These caused me to stop eating meat, however lame that sounds 3. Alkaline Trio - Goddamnit - when i was straight edge, i heard this record, and loved it. Loving a song called "My Little Needle" seems contradictory to the whole edge thing, so, i sort of stopped being so close-minded about my friends who drank and etc. I'm still sober, though. 2. Small Brown Bike - Dead Reckoning - This record, and more specifically the song "See You In Hell," is what got me into the whole Gainesville style of punk, and into the type of music I'm playing now, etc etc etc. 1. Blink-182 - Dude Ranch It's safe to say that if it wasnt for this record in the summer of 1997, i wouldn't be here right now, and my life would probably be vastly, vastly different. there's mine, now, everyone else, go!
  10. So a while ago, there was a livejournal community set up for some of the kids around our scene in the Athens and Atlanta area to barter and trade and etc. I thought it would be interesting to maybe start something similar up on here. The old premise was no money at all, which is a neat idea, but isnt always possible. Basically, if you have stuff that you need/want and have some stuff you dont need/want, maybe you could post something about it on here and trade some people for it? Get creative, I suppose. On our old board, people would trade poems and cupcakes and mix tapes and shit for distortion pedals and older digital camera's, etc etc etc i dont know, I thought I would toss the idea out there and see if it catches on. I've got a couple things I am looking for, I just need to go through my shit to see what I dont need anymore that might be worth-while. So, barter up, or something.
  11. Anyone have a copy they are looking to sell or trade? You're more than welcome to look through my list to see if I have anything you want, although, I kind of want to keep most of whats in there just let me know, if so. Take Care, - Zac
  12. Long story short: I am kind of an idiot and bought two of the exact same record. This has just been sitting on my shelf and I have seriously never listened to it (the only reason I opened it was to see if I got lucky and got a copy of the red vinyl…I did not). It’s just the newest Lifetime record that came out on Fueled By Ramen or Decydance or whatever on Black Vinyl. Seriously never been played, so, mint condition. I was thinking of putting it on eBay but I thought I would put it up on here first, see if anyone was interested or wanted to trade or anything. I’m looking for some Small Brown Bike, Army of Ponch, Glass and Ashes and Fake Problems, and probably some other stuff. Get at me (PM) if interested. Thanks, - Zac
  13. OK, so I have been having some trouble here. I am trying to track down all of the variants in Latterman’s “…We are Still Alive” and am having some serious trouble defining the difference from “Marble Grey,” and “Marble Grey Colorful.” I have a copy that I am pretty sure is “Marble Grey Colorful,” and then bought what I through was “Marble Grey,” but the more I look at them, the more I think they are both “Marble Grey Colorful.” Like, one is certainly more “Colorful” than the other, but they both have a lot of color to them…in the grey. Any help here? Exactly how colorful is the “Marble Grey Colorful,” and exactly how grey is the “Marble Grey”? Thanks. Take Care, - Zac
  14. Hey everyone, I posted something kind of similar a little while ago, but, here is kind of an updated “want list.” I’ve also got some stuff for trade, and am also willing to throw some cash your way if you have any of this stuff and are willing to let go of it. Small Brown Bike Dead Reckoning - White or Grey Vinyl Our Own Wars - Any color but Marble Brown or Blue River Bed - Black Vinyl Army of Ponch Vs. the Curse - Green So Many You Could Never Win - Orange or Black Fake Problems Spurs and Spokes 7” - White This is some stuff from my collection I am willing to part with right now. I don’t really keep my finger on the pulse of how much this stuff is work, but, I think these records might mean more to some other people than me 7” Hot Water Music / Casket Lottery Split 7” on Blue Vinyl RUMBLESEAT "Restless / Trestles" - 7" on Green LPs Lifetime – Lifetime on Black Vinyl (This has seriously never been played. I accidentally ordered two copies when they were for sale and, well, its just been sitting around) Armalite – Armalite on White (I know this is still in stock on No Idea, but, you know, whatever) Poison the Well – Tear from the Red, Clear Yellow/Goldish Hot Water Music – Caution on Black. Its from the first pretting, but is also 1 of like, 2 million. And that’s about it right now. Sorry my for trade list isn’t that exciting. If you have any of the records I am looking for, or are interested in any of the stuff I have, just PM me or e-mail me at [email protected]. Thanks so much, Take care, - Zac
  15. it might just be my colour-blindness acting up again, but am i crazy or are our fest pressings pretty different colors? Yeah man, I hadnt seen another one, but, i remember looking at mine and thinking there wasnt much red in mine, despite the "Purple/Gray/Red." but yeah, thats weird. great fucking record though, one of the best of 2007
  16. it seems as thought that I am a little late jumping in here, but, for what its worth, here are the records I am most stoked to have on my shelf Glass and Ashes - Fest Pressing (142/200) Small Brown Bike - Dead Reckoning Lawrence Arms - Apathy and Exhaustion Small Brown Bike / Cursive - Split 7" Shorebirds - s/t 7" I know that Shorebirds might not be anything special (I know like, three other people that have the record), but its still a killer record and etc etc. - Zac
  17. hi, I'm new around here. Anyway, I'm looking for the following records.
