I have 7 copies of this because, originally I was going to try and have a complete Goddamnit repress collection. I quickly realized that was kind of stupid. Looking to get rid of all of them except for one. I was planning on keeping the VC one, but I'll part with it if you're sweet enough. Trades, offers, whatever. I'm not looking for much. im working today, and tomorrow. I still work for a pet sitting company...I'm actually doing overnight house sittings tonight and tomorrow night. Working 6:00am-9:30, 1:30-3:00, 7:30-9:00 before i go to the house i do overnights at. Pay and a half, though. Making something like, $450 today and tomorrow.

Hey, I know this may be a stupid question, but I am not really into this band that much, but, does anyone know the pressing info on The Hold Steady's Boys and Girls of America? And the follow up is, if it is in press, where i could find it? This is my girlfriends like, favorite record ever and she is just getting into vinyl so I was going to try and track down a copy for her for the holidays. Thanks so much guys for any helpful info

So my dad just upgraded his TV and gave me his old one...its a Daewoo 42 "Plasma Dream" TV, which makes me think that its not a legit plasma and some HHGreg knockoff. Anyway, I have it set up and all of that, but, sometimes, the picture kind of just sucks. Like, right now I am watching it and it its decent, certainly nothing worth complaining about for a free 42" TV. But up until now the picture has been piss poor at best...i was watching a Woody Allen movie and it sort of looked like that Scanner Darkly movie. right now I am running it with the standard video cables, but if I begin to lose the picture again I was going to go dig up an S-Video and a component cables and see if that makes a difference. I guess what I am asking is if anyone on here has any experience with these kind of TVs...if there is anything else I should be checking for, if its something I should get checked out, or something to just deal with. i've been installing and working with TVs and surround sound systems for almost 10 years now, so I know how to set them up, I just dont know much about the inner workings. So, I'm staying with Jeff and Dave from Jena Berlin in South Philly and have dont shit to do while they work before we head on tour. Anyone on here know where I can get a good burrito in South Philly? I'm right around 16th and Jackson. Has to be within walking distance (unless you can not get me lost on the public transit). Veggie burgers would be great too, because, honestly, burritos, veggie burgers and pizza is about all i eat.

I now someone made a thread about this earlier, about taking care of vinyl that your band is taking on tour...i searched and scowered and couldnt find it anywhere. Sorry if thats annoying Anyway, my question is a little different and has a couple layers...I'm going on tour for the next three months and hope to do some record shopping...especially while we are in Europe. Does anyone have any advice or tricks of how to not warp or fucking on vinyl while keeping them in a hot van for a long time? The first time we went on tour I taped my plastic bag that had all my vinyl in it to the ceiling of our van to keep it out of the sunlight, but i'm not sure how pumped the bands I am going with will be about me doing that to their van. Also, any tricks about getting vinyl back across seas? My backpack is too small for LPs, so i was thinking of sticking a mailer or two in my carry on bag and putting them in there, etc etc. Any other interesting ideas or stories would be awesome. - Z

i paid $50 (ebay ticket) to see Blink-182 during that Small Club Honda Civic tour they did, right before Take Off... came out. Shit was awesome.
