  3. Just got back from UK. I had some stuff waiting at a friends house. These were the OSTs among the haul - A Clockwork Orange is pretty beat up, needs a good clean, but it cost me £1. Love those bargain bins!! Also picked up Moonrise Kingdom score, sealed for £7. Running Man score is bloody brilliant. Harold Faltermeyer has got his shit down. And Rivers Edge was a lovely surprise find, you can never have enough Slayer in your collection!!!
  4. Awsome! The Kickstarters covers are up!!! murderbydeath.bandcamp.com/
  5. Anyone know anything about these? I came across this at Rough Trade but can seem to find anything else anywhere online. Anyone? If this means Let's Go finally gets an proper lp release rather than 2x10", picture disc or 36x7"s im all over it!! Thanx
  6. I've been streaming the couple tracks on Bathetic soundcloud. Really liking this and Angel Olson... https://soundcloud.com/batheticrecords Going to pick this up if a UK/euro distro stock it.
  7. Just got a reply to a tweet from Big Harp that Varese Sarabande will be releasing the soundtrack to Stuck in Love written by Nate Walcott and Mike Mogis in June. Im very stoked.
  8. Maria Taylor. Albums first time on vinyl, other than Overlook. Would like to see it include MT & Andy LeMaster Savannah Drive ep. Coming to think of it an Azure Ray box set would be cool too with singles included. And why not a Conor Oberst first three cassettes on vinyl: Water, Heres to Special Treatment and Soundtrack To My Movie.... Including Norman Bailer - Sine Sierra.
  9. $7 shipping was dissapointing? Huh? Try $20 dude!! Ive been waiting too long for this not to grab it. Today is very a good day. I also managed to score a coloured copy of Maniac this morning. Chuffed!
  10. Apologies of this has been posted already, but enter to win a test press of the Sound City lp. Open to US residents only, so will someone enter for me, win it and then send it to me? Thanks. http://www.recordstoreday.com/Contest/1215
  11. Did anyone else that got the Loser edition of this have a nasty clicking sound on "Just Make it Stop"? That track is the reason i bought the album... brilliant! The rest of the record plays fine and sounds great in fact. Has anyone else had any issues? Thanks
  12. A chocolate covered pretzel, perhaps? This record is worth it just for Squirtguns - Social. Superb opening track. Especially with the comic book titles!
  13. Look what my mailman just dropped off (sorry for the crappy phone photos) - They Live (sub ed.) The Devils Business - Both are subscription editions!
  14. In keeping with the Willy Wonka theme - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RUSTY-GOFFE-STAR-WARS-WILLY-WONKA-ACTOR-SIGNED-SINGLE-EX-CONDITION-/151012952156?pt=UK_Records&hash=item232912c85c
  15. Great score dude. I mean "score"! Not as in the music, though its pretty darn good too. I mean like... you know what i mean. I just checked ebay/discogs for this... you got a bargain sir! I watched this film on repeat when i was a kid and my daughters have been through their WW phase. Ive seen this more times then i care to remember by now. Though if i had this record my girls would have it on repeat! Id love to see this... The ost isnt too shabby either - Dead Already - Thomas Newman Because - Elliott Smith Free to Go - The Folk Implosion American Woman - The Guess Who All Right Now - Free Use Me - Bill Withers Cancer for the Cure - Eels The Seeker - The Who Don't Rain on my Parade - Bobby Darin Open the Door - Betty Carter We Haven't Turned Around - Gomez Bali Ha'i - Peggy Lee Any Other Name - Thomas Newman
  16. Ah! Ive been waiting for this Stuck In Love ost since i heard about it a few months back (this trailer was tweeted just moments ago by the director Josh Boone!). The score has been written by Mike Mogis and Nate Wallcott of Bright Eyes. The track at the end of the clip is by Big Harp (fuckin awsome band on Saddle Creek) with Mike and Nate. Sounds very good indeed. And the film looks pretty cool too.
  17. Maaaaan! I just got this order update - Dear Anonymous/The Left is Right Pre-Order Customers, We promised an update on the expected ship date for these singles in mid-March, and this is that update. The seven-inches are due in our office in about four weeks, and should ship out beginning the third week of April. You will receive an email (with tracking information) once your order is preparing to ship. Thank you for your support! Desaparecidos Webstore
  18. I saw that they had the wooden box set up on the site one night after it had been sold out for a good, when i went back to order they had gone. I emailed them and their sales guy, Jay said there was one box left that they we're going to keep in the office, but i could have it. I think i may have got th every last one! He sent the vinyl and wooden box seprately (to avoid what happened to Maneatingcow above) at no extra cost. Very cool people. On another note, all my Lonesome Wyatt/Those Poor Bastards records came straight from Lonesome himself. Super cool dude.
  19. OK. I have taken it upon myself to start a soundtrack and film score. I know that a few of us are interested in the genre and with all the recent releases and re-presses of our favourite movie soundtracks i thought it deserved its own thread. Plus the question has been asked if there was one. I couldnt find one, but if there is, shoot me and in my final moments i'll delete this topic. Post your what scores you'd like to see or have, your current purchases, PO's etc. Thanks and enjoy. RIght, ill go first. This arrived yesterday. Its what you'd expect from a great Danny Elfman score... anyway, you've seen the flick, no need to explain.
