Worth it or no? Got into a bar fight tonight. Some idiot was acting dumb to my girlfriend's friend so I stepped in to make him back off. Guy has like 4 other friends that come out of nowhere and one gets a cheap shot in then all hell breaks lose. Security breaks it up pretty quick and we get escorted to our cars. Nothing serious for me, but one of the girls did get smashed in the middle of everything. Not really sure if it was worth it, as I now sit here with a cut lip and and my girlfriend's friend is bruised up. However, I'm a firm believer of standing your ground. Just can't let idiots do whatever the fuck they want with no consequences or at least confrontation. Obviously there's no rules in fights but the guy who came outta nowhere with a blow was really cheap. They already had me out numbered, I would've had to stand down. Would you have done the same, not even confronted the guy at all, just give him a piece of your mind, or...? P.S. - Would've murdered that fuck if his boys didn't step in. Had a good 20 pounds on him

In case you didn't know, the one on Amazon is an import from Germany. If you want the US release it's on Sonic Boom. You can tell the difference by the text on the cover. Sonic boom is all on the same side, while the German release is long and spread out across both sides.

Shit, thank god you told me to listen to this album before I buy it, I would have never thought of that myself. If it's self-explanatory then there is zero point to your comment. I'm sure many people will buy this solely on nostalgia/impulse, as I almost did, without listening to it beforehand. Honestly, is there really something wrong with trying to give people a heads up? I'd love for someone else to do the same...

For everyone stoked about this release, I would re-listen to the album before purchasing. Gave it a go today and it just doesn't do me magic anymore. Not trying to diminish sales or anything...

These GJ 7" are going to be the death of me. Ebay prices are ridiculous... If anyone is willing to part with 2+ of the set, I'll pay more.

Those pictures are fucking beautiful, my god, but holding it in my hand is still better I think my total came out to $45, but that was with a little bonus for yarostino.

Yeah its crazy. I bet the guy who sold it to me is "kicking himself". lol. I got it for 18ppd on deadformat. then like a month and change later it went for 150 on ebay. crazy. so happy i got a good deal on this. I doubt the guy cared about making a profit, just probably wanted to help another vinyl enthusiast get a record he loves. There's actually a lot of decent people out there, you just gotta search. Obviously the greedy people are going to be the first to turn up when you announce you WTB. Spending the hours to PM people on Dead Format who have your title and are willing to let it go for cheap pays in the end.

Their self titled is an absolute masterpiece, their best work by far. That album just screams love, love, love (anyone get that ). One of my top 5 albums of all time. It was the album my girlfriend and I listened to over and over when we first started dating, but that doesn't influence how great it is at all. If you like Into the Flood, especially "505", you should have no problem getting into the self titled.

To be fair I can understand some of the points people are making... But yes, main thing is I'll be able to own this.

I'm gonna comment as a house DJ. Record hunting was both bliss and hell. You'd spend hours digging in crates at several locations and not find one thing. On the other hand, you'd have those days where you'd find an absolute gem for dirt cheap. Music was more "rare" not only because vinyl was a lot harder to come by than CD's, but because half the time you'd never find out what song was playing in the first place.
