Has Thursday ever not been dull? I've never been able to get into them. I don't think they're particularly terrible or anything, but after about 3 songs I always wonder why I'm still listening. Totally agree, I only went becuase my friends and my girlfriend all used to be super into them and Poison The Well were the support. The only Thursday album I have is Common Existence and the only time I've given it a proper listen was just before I went to see them so I could know some words to sing.

Sounds like standard DEP fair, wearing a bit old for me now I can't believe Fake Problems are on this tour! It's so weird and so awesome. Also, I saw Thursday play live a couple of weeks ago, they're kinda dull and Geoff thinks he's Mick Jagger, which when you're playing to an audience of about 40 people is just so so sad

Yeah, that's the main reason I didn't put them on. I feel like In the Aeroplane... was kind of an anomaly in the band's catalogue. I like their other stuff, but it doesn't compare. I put them on just because so much amazing music came from the wake of Aeroplane, I mean that album is a pretty big reason Aracde Fire exists so I thank them for that. In the same way that I blame Every Time I Die for My Chemical Romance existing

I know, I put Daisy on in my car on the drive home from going to buy it. I almost turned around to take it back thinking they'd put some old ladies CD in the wrong box, then Vices 'proper' kicked in and I was really gonna turn back thinking they'd put a From First To Last CD in the case. Then Bed came on and I was like, shit I really do need to take this back, I mean, at that point I definately knew it was Brand New, it's just sooo fucking boring. And then I already knew At The Bottom was boring, little did I know it would turn out to be one of the best tracks on the CD. Then Gasoline happened, I face palmed and was like, Oh God he's screaming again And say what the hell you want about You Stole, to me it sounds like one of those mid album songs that crappy metal bands do to 'Slow down and show their musicianship', that You Stole croon? God it makes me cringe....
