Is there any serious chatter about represses of this or clarity in the works? I seriously don't know why they wouldn't do it stat with so much demand for those two albums. Also I am an idiot for not grabbing clarity at the clarity 10x tour so I need to right that wrong.

Do you want a new stylus (needle) ... or an entirely new cartridge? Because you can buy a replacement stylus for that cart ... http://www.needledoctor.com/Ortofon-FF-15-XE-MKII-replacement-stylus Did some quick research and that was an budget Ortofon cart that came out in the 80s. Still, basically well regarded, and if you like the sound, getting a new stylus might not be a bad choice. If you'd like an entirely new cartridge, there are plenty of other good budget choices from Shure, Grado, Audio Technica and Ortofon. Go back a page or two in this thread (reply #473) for more info. Yea did some research of my own to figure out the billions of things I needed to understand better over at vinylengine. Found a FF15D for cheap, but its listed as conical diamond, and it sounds like most prefer elliptical. Thoughts?

in general what makes it easy to ruin, if it slides off/on to replace? Could you expand on that? I'm looking into replacing my old old ortofon soon, and seem fairly confident it won't get messed up.

are you implying I don't appreciate the music on records? I meant selling the original press was not simple math because it has sentimental value, not that I don't listen to it.

problem is my wife bought it for me when we were dating (when it wasn't exhorbantly expensive) so it has way more sentimental value than actual value. Also, I don't want to start the habit of buying represses of LP's I already have for vanity's sake.

just went through the official RSD list, and it lists blueprints as a 2LP and NTFP as single. That somehow doesn't seem to feel right to me. Was really hoping for them both to be 2LP, like cities. crapballs.

Looking for a replacement stylus, current one installed is a ortofon FF 15 mk II, any suggestions for other brands that are similar to that one? It's my first replacement so I am learning as I go.

Hey was wondering what people on the board might think about my audio issues I have been having. The last few records I have spun the audio sounds like its cutting out especially during the bassy parts. The receiver's EQ doesn't seem to be maxed out or anything, and my sennheiser HD 280s seem fine (though a few years old). I got the impression through some tinkering that my needle/cartridge is getting in need of replacement. But it is getting to the point where records are unlistenable because of how distracting the audio screw ups are. Thoughts? solutions? Thanks!

Wondering the same thing. Would rather pick this up in the tooth and nail store, and not have to deal with the inevitable ridiculous lines at Park Ave. I just wish we knew ahead of time.

I would much rather polyvinyl add more copies to their online store, than making this a RSD release since it has already been pressed once. Also, any luck finding every night fireworks?
