  1. both of those just make me cringe. wish it was 2xLP. uh, buddy it is a 2xLP. I have to admit I'm not thrilled about the bonus tracks and agree it should be a bonus 7" to preserve quality and the listening experience.
  2. i posted here and a few other places asking about it. nobody knows the numbers, but there were definitely four colors: black, green, blue and grey swirl. blue and green seem to be the least common, for sure. edit: it doesn't help that big wheel recreation doesn't exist anymore, either...
  3. wow, interesting that they're not only pressing it on a cool color, but numbering them. i guess vinyl really is exploding these days!
  4. in for a smash - can't argue with the weight this record carried throughout many lives and bands no matter what they did before or after... on a side note, someone needs to snatch up the 'short music for short people' LP that comes up when you click the link above (or search: offspring)... looks like there's only 1 left. just about any band from the late 90's is on it. who can ask for more than 101 30-second songs?!?
  5. Definitely an awesome record, though I was a bit confused when made a left turn and went techno. Come on guys, that's what side projects are for. Props on the upcoming release! Glad someone is doing it.
  6. got mine too. from seattle to chicago two days on free shipping! ordered last monday, shipped wednesday, arrived friday. rok!
  7. Now, if they could make the actual TAPE itself colored, we might have something here...
  8. With me every month lately it's like the Cubs every year. Maybe next month I'll buy less... Nah! Between new releases and represses alone I get into enough trouble. Plus my brother finds and points out everything I missed. It's all his fault, really.
  9. wow, that is some artwork! Ordered with a capital "O," I say!
  10. stoked! ...too bad i had to sell a bunch of op ivy vinyl to make some cash back in college.
  11. wow, ten year anniversary for this record... i grew up on this stuff. damn, makes me feel old.
  12. nabbed me the last joey cape on chocolate milk a couple of hours ago! sweeeeet, thanks virgil! looks like i missed out on a couple of other things, but i've ordered more than enough lately...
  13. impressive and very pretty, but where did you get them?
  14. ha! i heard about this when they were doing pilots and kind of forgot about it. well, this show was the first thing to make my daughter (7 mos.) sit still for 20 minutes (besides food) EVER! Who knows if she gets it, but she loves it and I think it's cool because there are so many cool music references (anyone catch the aquabats doll during "pick it up!"?) and bands on it that I can't wait to teach her about. my wife asks why i have all these records and i say, "Well, our kids are going to want to inherit something!"
  15. imo ltj were always awesome at keeping track of their releases (and putting out a lot of them!) on their own. it always annoys me when you can't find pressing info. thank god for deadformat (usually).
  16. so, i haven't seen anywhere numbers for the FMM repress... i'm already in for one, just curious.
  17. well there's this: http://cgi.ebay.com/Catch-22-Keasbey-Nights-Clear-LP-Vinyl-Record-twenty-tw_W0QQitemZ120202669575QQcmdZViewItem?_trksid=p3286.m20.l1116 but then sadly i just missed this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140275614647&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:US:1123 damn actually having to do work at work.
  18. I noticed letterman has been holding up vinyl for most acts. wonder if he gets any that are limited pressings? watch out, those things are WHITE HOT when you take them out of your super giant cd player!
  19. my baby brother (20 years ago) broke my copy of thriller in the kitchen. threw it up in the air and CRASH! a hundred pieces. come to think of it that was probably one of my first records... need to add that to my want list!!
  20. second that! IMHO most inserts are too flimsy, but if it's on a heavier cover-weight stock it can be okay. depending on the fit, the thing ones can get bent when sliding records in. also agreed, it's a shame when the leave the second side blank.
  21. in for a white! glad he's back at this. a welcome addition.
  22. wow, i know a lot of people that go for color variations or all releases, but ALL of a pressing? seems a little greedy if you ask me.
