  1. Remember how last year the Souls sets were the first night random/rare and the next two nights were the "top 40" countdown? I wonder if they are gonna do anything specific for these nights.
  2. I assure you, with no extra special guests popping up the show will still amaze you.
  3. Last night in Asbury was definitely an amazing show. Dave Hause played with Chuck, then shortly after Pete from the Souls came out and did True Believers with everyone yelling along, and not quite playing. Frank Turner was a great drunk dancing machine, and he was really good too. Bowling with Chuck and the rest of the guys....ridiculous.
  4. Emailed them. Hopefully they get back to me before they are gone. Really not trying to track anything for Gaslight down on ebay.
  5. Yeah, I made the same mistake a couple months back. The fine people at Interpunk weren't very caring or friendly with the matter.
  6. I second that. The s/t 7" that interpunk sells is actually their last 7" w/Kdz Radio. Has their original s/t ep ever been pressed as a 7"? I recall once seeing someone claim it was, but in the last 8 years I've never seen one. I should be posting my Explosion collection in the other thread later on tonight.
  7. lol me too Group voice for 0 credit, on my birthday. No big deal missing it, suckers.
  8. Very sad indeed. I have to leave for class in 20 minutes...thinking about not going.
  9. The checkout was acting up for me too and tried to send it to someone in Chicago. Then when I finally got it right it said it was already paid. Now it says my order is pending so I guess we'll see in the morning. Everyone should check out Spanish Bombs if they haven't already. Can't wait to have these songs on vinyl.
  10. The Gaslight records look great. The colors are perfect with the cover, but I think the black takes the cake for me.
  11. Great band, great dudes, awesome tunes. Everybody should check this out. Naive is fuckin heavy.
  12. My station is on the smaller side and our responce time is generally faster than most. But if we are busy and someone gets out to start it, I'll figure out if they are an asshole or not; if they are I'll lay down the law just for fun. Ahh, I could write a book from working there... The mugs came just in time as I had just broken my favorite one not long ago. They look great.
  13. I work at a gas station, and I love pumping cars from out of state. They always make small talk about wanting to pump it themselves, then I remind them I get paid to do what they have to do on their own everyday. They never appreciate that.
  14. Goodluck getting the real numbers from Bankshot... As far as I know I think there was 750 Red, and 250 Bloodshot(clear w/red around the center). And then there's the red marble-ish Euro. press.
  15. they mention this in an interview, so probably not a ripoff... Also, check out Dylan's song Subterranean Homesick Blues and then listen to Gaslight's Angry Johnny and the Radio. I think it's awesome but I guess some people think "Bobby does it better." Listen to We Came to Dance, and then Springsteen's Thundercrack. Might find something there There's a ton more but I'm tired.
  16. Anybody have a full Explosion collection and would like to put up some pictures?
  17. Vinyl nerds...in process of repressing Loved Ones, Strike Anywhere To Live In Discontent, Bouncing Souls Gold Record, and Off With Their Heads/Measure split...limited stock remaining of original first pressings but don't wait too long as we are almost out! All this and more at: www. chunksaah. com Hopefully the repress for the Gold Record isn't a picture disc.
  18. The acoustic set was at the Court Tavern in New Brunswick. Pretty small place but has had legendary shows for a long long time now. There was maybe like 30-40 people there when Brian played. About 15-20 people were singin' along and such. Expected a bit more people there myself. It was a lotta fun, and really laid back.
  19. So this weekend was nothing short of amazing. Saturday Brian Fallon did an acoustic set of Sink or Swim straight through (messed up a little but that's ok) and two songs from Senor/Queen. There five videos up on youtube but they are kinda dark. The audio is great and the guy who filmed them separated the audio. Figured a few people here would be interested. http://www.sendspace.com/file/8kky5e Then Sunday the "secret" show was absolutely ridiculous. Second time hearing the new song; can't wait to hear that fuckin record! They played just about every song they have. Can't even describe it...
  20. Show is happening right now. Wish I was there. Apparently they have some sort of limited boxed set on sale for $50. Not sure what's included or the details yet; waiting on a call back.
  21. Last night in NJ they didn't have any of the tour Lp's. Bummmmmer.
  22. I was so pumped to get the corn shirt, but tonight I saw it and it has tour dates on the back. I'm not down with that. Sad it's over though.
