Does anyone else have this?? A-side = Black Flag 'TV Party' B-side = Minutemen 'More Joy' (instead of the Flag tracks) Purchased new/sealed from some store or distro a few years back, specifically for Flag's "My Rules", only to discover that the b-side was a 90 second instrumental instead >> an instrumental that didn't sound like Greg Ginn, whose matrix happens to match to the b-side of the Minutemen 'Joy' 7". Was there an entire pressing like this, or is it an uber-rarity? SST is one of THE WORST labels when it comes to their pressing info, so I have no clue what the deal is with this.

As this has changed hands on VC in the past, I thought I'd see if whomever has one would be willing to part with it. Seeing as I've only found one transaction on record, I'm gonna offer $100 out the gate.[alternately, a thread from last July seems to indicate that someone who posts here now owns the plates, but was having issues with the plant. if that's you, get in touch and I'll bankroll a small pressing]. Sidestepping the mud-slingin', I'd like to add: Overpriced major label reissues, 2008-present. Now you really CAN spend ALL your money on Thin Lizzy records. I give the folks running Back To Black a pass, since they're paying licensing out the ass to reissue stuff the majors won't, plus remastering, and maybe even throwing the bands a bit of $$$ now and again. Mobile Fidelity shit is overpriced, but at least comes with the guarantee of sounding BETTER than the original pressing in most instances. The stuff the majors do directly though? Sheeeeeeeeeit. A new $30 copy of 'Van Halen II' only serves to drive up the price of a used copy. Same goes for 'Jailbreak', etc etc et al.
