  1. Anything by: Antischism (crusty peace punk) Harum Scarum (crusty peace punk) Heartsounds (new band that could be on Fat but aren't) LaSalle (Small Brown Bike members) RVIVR (Latterman, Shorebirds members) The Evens (indie with Ian Mackaye) This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb (folky punk) But those are all bands...not really songs...
  2. 328...it's just a number I've noticed in my life for as long as I can remember. I almost daily look at the clock at 3:28. I grew up near a Hwy 328. I moved a few times as a kid but always seemed to be a block away from Hwy 328. It's a weird number but it's my favorite. Also, I'm not a sports fan at all.
  3. No, Coal Tattoo isn't on Gold Country. It's the B-Side from the picture 7" (from the Daytrotter Session) and it's on the Live at Hafenkneipe Zürich LP. Exactly, I was typing to fast and forgot a word. Fixed above.
  4. Coal Tattoo is on Gold Country. It was recorded live during the daytrotter sessions.
  5. http://www.needledoctor.com/Online-Store/Phono-Preamps?range=1%2C50%2C75 They've got a bunch of different inexpensive ones as well as some very expensive ones.
  6. What is the pressing information for the North Lincoln 7"? There are so many colors to choose from so knowing how many of each color was pressed will help me decide. Thanks.
  7. I'm not sure how much I've spent with VC specifically but the running total of what I've spent on vinyl for the year (since January) is $1,453.54. I'd assume VC got 25% of that thus far this year, roughly. I really shouldn't keep spreadsheets of all my expenditures.
  8. Razorcake, Give Me Back, Anarcho-Syndicalist Review, International Socialist Review, and Tattoo Artist Magazine
  9. Graduated in 1996... Not positive but probably: Bad Brains - Self Titled (lightning bolt over DC) Circle Jerks - Group Sex Subhumans - The Day The Country Died or something else along those lines.
  10. Pirates Press can handle them although I am not sure who they have a contract with that does the actual print work.

  12. I saw this last night. I am not a fan of sci-fi. With that being said, I thoroughly enjoyed all the political tones to the movie. Having it set in Johannesburg was a brilliant (although obvious) choice. The main characters were very likable too.
  13. It really depends on how far you want to take it. Dietary vegan or vegan in all areas. Animal Ingredients A-Z is a great reference book to start with. It can be confusing because a lot of stuff can be from an animal source or from a vegetable based source. For myself, if it has the possibility of being from an animal source, I try my best to not ingest it, but I don’t lose sleep if I go out to eat with omni’s and the bread may have mono-diglicerides in it. It really comes down to how much time and energy you want to put into the change to vegan. Vegan Freak is an enjoyable book that has a bunch of information in it. And, the Veganomicon is an awesome cookbook. http://www.akpress.org/2004/items/animalingredients http://www.akpress.org/2008/items/veganomicon http://www.akpress.org/2008/items/veganfreakpm http://www.akpress.org/2005/topics/VegetarianAnimalRights Also, I don’t post there but the ppk is a message board a lot of my vegan friends frequent. http://www.theppk.com/ Message Board: http://www.postpunkkitchen.com/forum/index.php
  14. I got mine in the mail yesterday. It was fairly poorly packaged and came really beat up. I am going to email Leech in the next couple days to see if they would be willing to send me a replacement. I listened to the record when Pirates Press got in a couple for their archives. It's pretty good.
  15. Unfortunately I am not going to be able to participate. I just won't have the time right now to be a active participant. I'm bummed. :-[
  16. I don't really need my opinions reinforced I just don't feel like reading a novel that only talks about the "good" things that drug use does. I want to hear the entire story of how drugs affected someone, both good and bad. I will look into those books. Thanks for the recommendations.
