  1. Unleashed the ultimate PWN. This is VC at its best. Thanks again, this thread can now fall into the abyss.
  2. this is all very helpful. sending the response. THANK YA.
  3. Yea I've used that Beatles excuse 100 times already (we press almost exclusively at Rainbo, at least used to) but I'm trying to say "you think you are alone here? even THIS BAND, THIS SINGER, and THESE GUYS had their vinyl street after CD/digital!"
  4. I hope this isn't a repeat post but I actually have a problem right now that I could use some help with. Basically I'm getting bitched at at how long records are taking to complete by several artists/labels. Can anyone think off the top of their head of some major label new releases that have had unreasonably late vinyl lately? I'm trying to show that everyone is victimized by this and would like to cite examples. Thank you.
  5. I've used several; match, okcupid, eharmony, and plenty of fish. I was pretty eager to get involved in my own dating life when I first moved to LA from NJ. Oddly enough, I had the most success on the free sites. Plenty of fish is where I met my girl. I would suggest being very active on them and not get down on yourself if you don't get responses or if you have shitty dates. But put an effort into everything you say. My girlfriend's sister is an active e-dater as well, and the effort on a first message matters more than anything she claims. I would say I met 8-10 people online, and at least 6 of them were people I went on multiple dates with. So I'm a big advocate of the process as long as you can handle some rejection.
  6. I met my girlfriend of 2 years online. We live together and have two dogs. Stay positive, in my opinion its the most practical way to meet someone of substance. You wouldn't stand on the side of the street hoping a car drives by with a "FOR SALE" sign if you were looking for a new ride right? You'd research, compare, and test drive before you bought it. A relationship carries a whole lot more weight than an auto purchase, so you're doing it right in my opinion (I've used this analogy 5000 times). Good luck e-dater.
  7. When I first moved to Culver I was playing 4 on 4 silver roller and subbing for ice since I'm a goalie. I never had a regular ice team until recently playing the 4 on 4 ice when the guys I used to play roller with, but its a really bad league and the pond ice is laughably terrible.
  8. I used to play roller in Torrance, ice at Toyota, silver as well. The trip over sucks since I moved to the valley though so I've been playing in Burbank and Panorama City.
  9. Played for over 20 years, still play twice a week. Ian what are the chances I've played against you in Torrance or El Segundo?
  10. Mobile app said I lost 5-7 last night. Weird. and yea probably. Clarkson/Brodeur are ruining me.
  11. I have nothing against anyone who likes this, but it reminds me of all the songs that the popular twelve year old girls in middle school wiggled to at the monthly dances in the cafeteria while I was smoking weed in the woods behind the gym. I can't, just cannot.
  12. The only thing this has infected me with is horrendously terminal musical aids.
