Just a few records left! -
Any suggestions for Goodwill floor standers? I see them all the time, most likely part of someone's budget rack set up from the late 80's early 90's. Is there a brand to look for/avoid?

I'm glad this is a thread. Angelo Badalamenti's music on Twin Peaks is phenomenal and sounds great on vinyl if you don't already have it. Also I became a Julee Cruise fan after watching the show. Floating In The Night is a dark loungy kinda album that captures the Twin Peaks/David Lynch vibe. Also, for those in the LA area, I highly recommend getting baked and going to the screenings that have been happening at USC. They're showing the entire series then ending with the movie. The series looks and sounds awesome on the big screen.

I think it's a way of getting around the "if the buyer pays you, you can't leave negative feedback" rule.

Don't deal with 2013alois2013 on eBay. Also known as 2012alois2012, 2010alois2010 and probably 2014alois2014 upcoming. alois lutz 11 hester street Little Ferry, NJ 07643 [email protected] He is a scam artist. Look at his recent feedback: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=2013alois2013&_trksid=p3984.m1561.l2776 He pays for records with eCheck then after the check clears and the item has shipped, he tells the bank it was an unauthorized transaction. The bank gets the money back from PayPal and the seller hopefully has tracking info so they can get the money in their account back. If not, you're fucked and this guy is laughing as he plays your prized vinyl.

Same here. Loaded randomly when I was away from my phone. -
I just watched Godfather last night on my copy of this set. Extra-ordinary. I don't think I'd seen it since college. Fabrizio is such a bitch.

100% agree. If you take a look at the original Star Wars, and even the prequels, bad as they were, they at least have a style to them that is their own. Lots of wideshots, everything on screen well established. If this is anything like the Abrams Star Trek it will be disappointing, and who's to say it won't. That movie made a shit ton of money, and that's all they're after in the end.

Small Talk Revival Thread
piecemeal replied to One Hundred Fifty-Two's topic in Everything Else Message Board
Brought my car into the shop because someone rear-ended me, guy says I'll be getting a survey. "Remember, anything under 10 is a failure." I hear that all the time from these places. Why have 8 other numbers??? So I'm just supposed to lie because he made me feel bad about it? What's the point of having the survey in the first place if you don't want honest results?- 169,220 replies

Just goes to show how underrated they are, which is ludicrous seeing as they influenced a shit ton of bands that kids think invented the genre. Pure brutal honesty and self-reflection, so hard to come by these days. Many, MANY fakers since.
