I ordered a big pile from Lauren Records - some Joyce Manor tapes, Glocca Morra 7", a random LP that looked interesting, fifty bucks total. That was over a month ago. I've emailed both addresses given to me, zero response. Anyone can comment on Lauren? I wanted to buy a couple additional AJJ tapes but I wanted to wait til my first order came in. It has gifts for other people in the order, I thought 2 months ahead of time was plenty but it looks like it won't be.

 

Alternatively, I got that BBNG2 from Innovative Leisure in perfect condition in like, 2 days.

Ordered the Joyce Manor cassette from there a while back and all went well, so maybe give it a little longer

One of the greatest things about living in Australia is that the episodes air in the States at about 1pm our time, and then air here at night. So anyone who can stream TV from the US or obtain the episode in other ways can see it earlier than most other Aussies. Same thing happened for Breaking Bad, which turned out to be reeeeeeeeeeeeally fun around Uni. When we were walking through/sitting in a crowded area, "I CAN'T BELIEVE WALT KILLED SKYLAR" always had some golden reactions from people around us. Try it next time. "Why would they kill off Rick?" or something similar a few hours before an episode airs.

This would explain all the fucking zombies coming into the prison fence. Surely in a remote area there will be a limit to how many there are. Maybe The Governor is steering them with fire/noise/something, to direct them towards the prison.

Xerxes were definitely the best 'surprise' band I've discovered from a sub. Hadn't heard of them at all, and Our Home Is A Deathbed was so good. Keen for a new one in the next sub

On a slightly related note, my girlfriend's mum was telling me about the pet rabbit she had when she was a kid. One night they had a casserole & salad, and she collected the leftover lettuce afterwards. Her mum asked "what are you doing with that?" and she said "giving it to Fluffy." To which her mum replied, "You just ate Fluffy". I felt super bad for laughing.

While you're at it, pick up the Robotosaurus/Totally Unicorn heart shaped record from the Monolith Monolith store! One of the best releases this year
