every year both RSDs get bigger and bigger so caveat emptor. i got to BF RSD about an hour early last year and was maybe 8th in the door at my local store (graveface). if you get there at 4 or 5, you might be first.

but is also $350, a little out of his budget. i might try to pick one up if/when they drop to $250 or so

check craigslist, people buy these type of things and realize they're not as in to whatever as much as they thought they were. i got a nice garmin forerunner with heart rate monitor for ~$125 on CL. it depends on what she wants out of it. i wanted to track distance/pace while running (so a screen was necessary) and be able to have that data exportable. most of the cheaper trackers don't have GPS so you have to have your phone with you while running to track distance (other than steps), and what's the point then.

when i saw them in jacksonville, barry grabbed this guy (who was like 6 foot, 200 lbs) that was about to stage dive, stopped in the middle of the song they were playing and berated the guy for like 2 minutes. the guy just awkwardly stood there while barry ripped him. it was strange. the crowd was weirded out but we soldiered on. i think when he did it in houston, the crowd turned on them.
