  1. Got a response from the support team. "The sticker is going to be made and it will be shipped out to you separately."
  2. I listened to it yesterday, it sounds really good! Only issue I had was a little fluctuation on the last song on side B. But for all I know, that could've been on my end.
  3. I emailed them and their response was "There was no sticker included in these packages. Regards, Support Team" Uhh, what?
  4. Got mine in the mail today. Random question, did anyone get that sticker? It's not that big of a deal but mine didn't come with one. For a $70 package you think they wouldn't forget anything...
  5. For the tone your describing, a JCM800 would be perfect. But I too, know the feels of that amp being out of budget. I think you could get an awesome tone out of a Vox AC30. To get that lead sound, you'll probably need a good boost/overdrive pedal. I've heard the Fulltone OCD compliments the AC30 very nicely. I use a maxon OD808 which is one of the cleanest overdrive pedals I've played with and I would highly recommend it. I don't know if your playing is going to be primarily softer or more of the louder now "distorted" guitar tone, but if your looking for the heavier side of things, you may want to look at a Telecaster with humbuckers. I'm not big on single coils for distortion stuff, they can be very noisy. I have the 72' Deluxe Telecaster and I love it, but it's made in Mexico rather then America. I don't know all the Fender Tele's that have humbuckers but just my two cents! Best of luck to you.
  6. Such a good song. This next album/EP (not sure which it is) is gonna be even better!
  7. Mine came as well, but also haven't spun it. After hearing the bonus tracks, I sure wish they were on it.
  8. You can stream this album on iTunes right now!
  9. Neither were pressed I believe. I still like both of those albums but I think the newest one wasn't really that successful.
  10. So is it assumed that the Amazon one is clear? Or are they doing black as well. Either way, happy this album is finally getting pressed. One of the best albums last year in my opinion.
  11. Hopefully we can get some more Sum 41 albums pressed as well!
  12. Anyone ever heard of/used this site? http://pedalgenie.com/ I saw them on reddit the other day. Basically you can rent guitar pedals for a monthly fee and keep them and swap them out for as long as you have the service (like netflix for guitar pedals). $34.95 which is a bit steep but I can see doing this every now and then to try out effects pedals that cost upwards of $200+. First month is $1 apparently too. Might try it sometime, but was curious what you guys thought. They're still new so I can't find any reputable reviews of the service.
  13. Can't stress enough how great these guitars are: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/EC1000ASB/ Just make sure you get one that comes with Duncan JB's. I'm not a big fan of EMG's.
  14. This arrived today! 72' Reissue Fender Telecaster. Only got about an hour of play time before class but I love it so far!
  15. Gonna swing by Fingerprints records tomorrow morning. Wish they had a list of the items they received but they do not, so hopefully the 40+ minute drive is worth paying for overpriced records!
  16. So i'm in the market for a new guitar. It won't be my main guitar I use for my band, but I want to try experimenting with a new sound (aka something thats not a les paul). I'm most likely going to get this tele: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Tele72Dlx3SB They're pretty common. Anyone have any experience with them? I also love the thinline one, but I'm trying to keep it under 850ish.
  17. Interesting. I wonder if that means no more subscription packages at all or they'll just name it something else.
  18. They are re-releasing this in a full size poster now? Haha, this came with the preorder to Love Pt. I & II through Hot Topic... These gold packages are getting more and more lazy.
  19. If your just demoing guitar, UX2 is a great start. I currently use the POD HD Pro and I think it sounds fantastic. If you like guitar rig, any interface will do. If you plan on getting serious with it, keep an eye on an interface that will be of use to you 5 years down the line. If you wanna record drums, the UX2 only has 2 microphone inputs...so that's not really helpful. For my actual interface I use a focusrite saffire pro 40, and it's got 8 xlr inputs for mics. You can also add an octopre for 8 more inputs. So basically it really depends what you plan on doing and what kind of interface your talking about.
  20. Been looking into getting a Vox AC15 or Vox AC30. Thoughts? I mainly play punk/rock/pop rock kind of stuff but love experimenting with ambient stuff. Would just be for my room and probably get a nice pedalboard eventually to compliment it.
  21. Dude it was amazing! Dude I hope it's the next single. My friend went tonight too and apparently it was a whole lot less organized. They restarted a few of the songs when they messed up and security was there this time after the show cause everyone rushed the stage after for the picks/setlists. A night I will not forget!
  22. Just got back from the secret show in LA where they played this album the whole way through. This album is awesome. It's very slow except A Sky Full of Stars, that song is very Mylo Xyloto sounding. The album reminds me a lot of Parachutes and A Rush of Blood To The Head. That being said, it really is a mix of every single album they've done so far, but mostly on everything pre-Viva La Vida. Can't wait to hear it recorded!
