Picked up a green. Hoping it is an opaque neon green. If not, orange may have been a better choice. Regardless, it isn't the end of the world and I will be happy with it.

I was listening to this the other day and thinking that this had never been pressed to vinyl. I'm sure Third Man will get to it eventually.

Looks like the pink/white and green/yellow are still available as well as the test press pack for those still interested.

I finally pulled the trigger on a splatter when they went back up earlier this week.

Got mine today. Took 11 days to get from San Francisco to Salt Lake City. It is yellow though, so I won't complain. It is a very unique yellow color. Fat did a good job with this one.

It doesn't surprise me that these sold out, but I am surprised they sold out this quick.

The package deal isn't THAT bad IMO. $100 for 3 LPs and a test press? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Might cave.

Thought about this, but 37 test presses? Doesn't that seem like a lot? When does a "test press" become a limited variant that they just overcharge for?

They said they would have more after January 1st. I think they are waiting on final numbers from the press plant before putting them all up.

Maybe I will wait then. Between the rather high cost and the variant I wanted being gone, maybe I can sit on this for awhile and see if this is something I can't live without.

Have to say that $25 shipped for a single lp seems a little high as well.

Did anyone here get the clear with splatter? It sucked because it was there, then I checked to see what else was in the store and when I went back it was gone. Have to say I was a little surprised.

The most limited variant of clear with multi colored splatter /100 sold out while I was checking out.

i just did the mystery bundles. you choose 5 7"s for $25 and they send you anything from a cd or sticker to that icky thump thumb drive of Meg, test presses and portable record players and any fun mystery shit they have will be thrown in with the 7"s. People on the vault forum keep getting crappy mysteries so the keep buying and hoping. 1 guy did it 4 times at least and the best thing he got was a cd.im one and done, but love these things.

I was happy with what I got. I did 2 mystery bundles along with a whole bunch of other stuff. I got one of the Jack White "I'm Shakin" posters and the slipmat that they sent out to Vault members who preordered the "Under Great White Northern Lights" box set. It's worth a shot. Good luck!

He has to release it sometime. At least I pray he does. Probably my most listened to Stripes record.

We have seen the 45 re-releases for the first 3 Stripes records now as of Black Friday. Seeing as they have done them in order and the pace at which they have re- released them, it seems like the Elephant and Get Behind Me Satan singles would follow suit pretty soon. I remember Ben Swank commenting that the whole White Stripes catalog would get re-released by Third Man eventually when I was in Nashville at the Third Man Store. That was in August 2009. I think it will happen in time. I cannot see Jack White not releasing one of his albums on vinyl with vinyl being the foundation of his record label. Stranger things have happened I suppose, but I think we will see it eventually.

Got this in the mail today. In my opinion, this package is hands down the best package ever put together for the Vault. The LP weight is a little light, but the packaging is amazing and more than compensates for the light weight vinyl. Anyone who is still waiting on this is in for a treat.

$29 shipped for the bundle. Pretty easy decision for me. Maybe I will regret the impulse buy down the road, but I don't think so.

You might be the only one. I ordered in October and it still says Not Yet Shipped. I don't really mind though. I won't be able to listen to it until I have new speakers.

Update: It now says "Shipped" with an estimated arrival of 12/17 via DHL Ground. Hopefully this means that many of the others following this thread will be receiving theirs soon!

That's what I'm hoping. I just thought I would give an update as I don't remember seeing in this thread that anyone who had ordered through .ca had actually received shipping confirmation or had received this item.

I've been charged for this on my credit card from .ca. My order status says "ship soon".

Down to $73.99 on amazon.com. It still has a long way to go before it beats my amazon.ca preorder.

This is awesome. I have a platinum membership (signed up in July 2009 in time for the first package) yet I the site tells me I need to "upgrade to Premium". By the hints in this site, this sounds pretty cool, but I have no idea what the details are. If this sells out by Monday, I am going to be pissed. I hate Modlife.

So, if it would be "way over $50 for a 4xLP" should we be expecting $30-40 for a 2xLP from SRC?

I just got off the phone with PayPal and it was pretty much worthless. They said that because the transaction occurred outside the 45 day window they could not force a refund (which I already knew) but that they would send RJ an email "asking him to facilitate the original transaction as soon as possible." After I told the customer service representative that this wasn't going to do anything, he asked me if there was anything he could do for me, as if he wasn't listening to anything I was saying. I did ask him if RJ's account was still in operation, he did say that it was "open to send or receive funds" but that he couldn't tell me about any transactions that may or may not have occurred. So this asshole may still be taking people's money in one way or another.
