I bet the actual store manager would let you check stuff out (especially in a few days from now), since they are probably the only one there that gives a shit about sales goals.

They won't show you? Seems like a great way to not sell anything ever.

They aren't doing exclusive colors for the sub this time around, so the leftovers will be just like the regular press minus a sticker that says "subscription". Also the two of you who are afraid they will sell these at $30 a piece, you can pretty much guarantee that the double LPs will be around that price.

I haven't ordered anything yet but I checked out the new site. On the mobile site I was only getting quoted for priority (didn't make it to the actual shipping options screen) but on my desktop I was quoted media mail and able to choose it at checkout.

All of these thoughts went through my head. Will just grab anything I really want separately, and swoop up anything I'm on the fence about on clearance.

Doesn't look like existing accounts carried over. Haven't seen confirmation of this, but I was able to create a new one using my existing email from the old store. I got out of bed and onto my PC, the non mobile version of the site is working pretty well for me now. The new releases for the day still aren't up though.

Yea the site is pretty screwed right now. Maybe Black Friday isn't the best day to launch a new site :/

So on a whim I ordered this... the songs have been pretty cool so far, and this story is pretty interesting. Doubt I will ever feel compelled to spin the interview sides of the records though.

Little did we know that the 1 day or so delay on the launching of the pre orders would be nothing compared to the delay on actually getting the records!
