  1. I'm kind of confused on how the SPECIAL perks work. I get that I'm only allowed to level up ones corresponding to the number of points i give each attribute. But should i go in any order leveling them up? Like should i complete one in the top row before moving to the one below it?
  2. Yeah Harris wrote and produced in this. Glad we get one more thing from him. RIP
  3. Defensive holding on FG?! I mean the Broncos likely weren't going to win anyway, but wtf?!
  4. It's my number 1 show to recommend to people. It's too good
  5. This whole post-hipster "this place used to be cool before all these people started to think it was cool" attitude is really played out and pathetic.
  6. open letters are super fucking lame
  7. im probably going to go. is the show really at 5 though? thats crazy early
  8. Exactly. It's good for baseball that a new team will win it.
  9. It just feels like there's a bubble that might burst in basketball. Thompson's contract is literally for as much money as Drake is worth. That's too much money, and basketball doesn't seem to be growing their fan base at a crazy rate like the NFL is.
  10. Tristan Thompson is officially the most overpayed player in the NBA (which is full of overpayed players) and hasn't even played a game on this contract.
  11. Opinions are split? I thought everyone held the same opinion that he's super lame
  12. As long as the ball goes over the wall and they touch every base in the right order, I don't care what a player does after a home run. Unwritten rules are such a load of shit.
  13. regardless of the call, toronto fans are looking super shitty right now
  14. "If, in the judgment of the umpire, a base runner willfully and deliberately interferes with a batted ball or a fielder in the act of fielding a batted ball with the obvious intent to break up a double play, the ball is dead. The umpire shall call the runner out for interference and also call out the batter-runner because of the action of his teammate. In no event may bases be run or runs scored because of such action by a runner" Obviously this is a judgement call and can't be reviewed. But it very easily could have (and should have) been called. Utley ran away from the base and targeted Tejada with the sole intention of breaking up a double play. That is against the rules and a double play should have been called.
  15. I'm screwed at running back this week with a combo of injuries and byes. Should I start Hill AND Bernard (then I avoid sitting whoever has the better game) or just one of them and Shane Vereen?
  16. CRUSH CITY!!!!!! Can't wait to go to the game Sunday!
  17. I've got plane tickets and game tickets for an ALDS game in Houston on Sunday. Astros better lock it down and beat the Yanks tomorrow.
  18. It's a visual metaphor that you could take a lot of ways. You could look at it as another example of losing people and moving on. You could look at it as showing how our individual traumas don't end up influencing the future at all (i.e. our suffering is for nothing). Or it could be an unfinished parable or story that they'll return to later in the season that will make it come full circle and relate more directly to the rest of the show.
