  1. Sure to be one of the top releases of the year. Eagerly awaiting this one.
  2. Daily passes should be up for sale in a couple of weeks as well.
  3. Rival Mob LP and shirt isn't bad compared to some of the other packages. I actually bought that terribly ugly shirt when it came out. HAHA!
  4. Yeah, sorry, I didn't want to spoil it for anyone that was actually wanting to be surprised. So yeah, the recent "Greetings From Richmond" DTN 7" with a different B side. Even the cover art is the same except a tag that says "More". I guess it's cool for the DTN collectors so whatever. Also included was a Rev 25th anniversary shirt from the CA shows, 5 CDs, and a random inclusion of the center labels from the YOT BDTW LP. I guess it's not terrible for $20 but the 7" was a bit of a let down.
  5. Thanks for the all the replies and suggestions. Ended up getting a place to stay in West Oakland so it sounds like that was a decent choice. I'll be down there in a couple of weeks and really looking forward to it. Definitely plan on hitting Amoeba, Rasputin, and 1-2-3-4 Go! while I'm there. I think that between record shopping and hitting up 2 baseball games I'll have plenty to keep me busy for two days. Thanks again for the suggestions!
  6. I'm driving down to California from Seattle in a few weeks and going to stop over in the Bay area for a couple of days. Going to hit a Giants game on Saturday night and an A's game Sunday afternoon. Anyone have any advice on good hotels or neighborhoods to stay in? I was looking at staying in Oakland since I'll be spending some time over there anyhow. I'll have a car obviously but wouldn't mind leaving it parked and using public transit to get around if I can. Outside of the ball games, just planning on doing some record shopping and whatever I happen to run into. Thoughts or suggestions? Appreciate any advice.
  7. Seemed like the preorder from Mayfly took forever but it was worth the wait. Awesome record.
  8. If you like metal of any genre and haven't heard the Trilobite record they put out, remedy that and grab it now.
  9. This makes 8 copies for me now. One test and 7 variants. This one is hard to keep up with but well worth it.
  10. Too lazy to list them all out but I've got tests for every Pulling Teeth release except the split with Irons. That's been a work in progress for a while and the only collection of them that I have. I've got a couple Integrity and Rot In Hell tests as well but nothing close to what I'd consider a collection of them.
  11. The Withdrawal track that's streaming fucking crushes. No hate on Iron Regan but this split 7" and the Seven Sisters Of Sleep LP that's also up for pre-order are where it's at. I already know those two releases will be toward the top my year end list.
  12. Thanks. I don't think I got that. I'll see if something comes with the package and if not send an email. Thanks for the info.
  13. When did the e-mail with the download come? I got an e-mail confirming my order but it didn't mention anything about a DL. Then today I got a shipping confirmation e-mail. Did I miss something?
  14. Got mine today. Not sure what all the colors were, mine was blue vinyl.
  15. I had one of these in my cart when they went up and started thinking that it was too good to be true so I ended up not pulling the trigger. Glad I did but sorry to hear that some of you gut burned. At least you got a killer record at a good price, just hope you didn't already have a black one.
  16. Same tracks as the RIH split and it looks like the cover/layout is taken from that booklet as well. Wonder what the remastering has done if anything. It's Integrity so I'm obligated to pick it up but I really wish it was new material. The split with Gehenna was a nice teaser but I want more!
  17. Nearly complete Pulling Teeth collection. Only a couple tests shy of being done.
  18. Had to go for one of each color as well as a test. Been anxiously awaiting this release. Going to be an expensive week with so many great releases.
  19. Great deal, was going to grab both of thsese in my next A389 purchase. Ordered and thank you.
  20. Easy Street - Two locations. Good selection of new stuff and all genres. Doesn't really cater to any specific niche. Great store, in my opinion, the best all around record store in the city. Silver Platters - I don't really hit Silver Platters up too much so I can't say, it's been years. I didn't realize they carried much vinyl to be honest. Zions Gate - Purely metal and reggae. Not much else but if you are into either of those, this is your spot. Though I find it to be pretty over priced but you can't beat their selection when it comes to metal. Sonic Boom - Can't stand Sonic Boom but if indie rock/KEXP/pitchfork flavor of the day crap is your thing this is your place. I think they are down to just one location now. Jive Time - Used records and very hit and miss but if you are looking for older stuff, great place. Definitely a good place to just browse but I don't find that I get a whole lot when I go. Everyday Music - Pretty good all around vinyl selection. New and used, all genres. Porchlight Coffee/Records - Great spot. Small selecion of new and used records, mostly newer punkish stuff. Good dude, good place. You can also drink coffee or beers while browsing through records. Singles Going Steady - THE punk rock record store. Used to be able to boast that it was about the best in the nation. Don't know if that's the case any longer but it's still great. If you're into punk, this is your spot.
  21. I can get behind/understand your point in regards to Enslaved (one of the greats for sure), but you can't argue that SOTLB or Somberlain are not black metal albums. Yes, Reinkaos does lean more toward the melodic death metal sound than anything, but that album came over a decade after their previous releases. Jon helped define what black metal is with those early albums. To say that Dissection are not black metal is crazy.
  22. The Somberlain is perfect as well. Neither can be touched. I spin both regularly. Even Reinkaos get's thrown into the mix. Dissection are without a doubt the greatest black metal band of all time and will never be topped. Hands down.
  23. Or you can e-mail Pirates Press and they will send you one.
