Agreed. What Tumblr has done to music is both good and bad. It's amazing how popular being As An Ocean has gotten and that's awesome for them, but I hate seeing them on there constantly. That and I saw them a while ago and they were just awful

Can you tell me anything on the Onkyo TX-8050? Seems to be similar to what you recommended and in my price range. Can't really budge because it's a birthday gift for myself from my family

I have 250 bones to spend on a new receiver or integrated amp. Needs to power my Technics SL-1200 mk2 and a tape deck as well (haven't found one, but I'm looking at a cheap Onkyo on eBay). Will probably get new speakers as well, but my crummy receiver is definitely the weakest link. My speakers aren't the greatest, but I want to replace this first. Thanks!
