just a 1 page insert/lyric sheet. yeah i know larry crane (www.tapeop.com) did all the remastering, hes great. he remastered all the new moon material as well. no DL code on the 1st press i might grab this just to have both versions. what i REALLY want is that poster. ebay is going to be pricey for one.

this is the only record i have spent more than $250 on. (the OG domino press) i never plan on selling it, but it still stings a little inside. is there any differences on the packaging/LP from the 1st press, besides the obvious KRS logo etc?

agreed. headline records used to be pretty amazing, just down on Melrose. I was pretty bummed out, all i wanted was another copy of the record.

why did you put recession in quotation marks? its obviously not effecting you if you are buying a record that is about to be repressed for 1/10 the price you paid.

So, i am at my usual record store here in LA, and i find a new/sealed copy of "Canavas" by silversun pickups, for $12.99 so i buy it, along with a metric 2xLP that was 50% off, and some other shit i cant remember. anyways, i go to play the silversun LP, and its totally FUCKED. its so warped that it would skip every time the record spun. So i take it back to the store like an hour later, and explain/show the situation, and the dude is like "bro LP sales are final here" So i turn into 'that guy' and am like 'well get me the fucking manager' so the mgr says sorry, and tells me the same thing. I leave the record on Amoeba's check out counter and was like 'fuck it, keep it.' ive been shopping there for days. its gunna be hard to boycott probably the best record store in the world, but im gunna try. rant/

Autolux - Future Perfect 2xLP at $90 with 4 days left. I need this record soooo bad, but can't really justify spending the money. One great thing about this band, is they make custom silk screen posters for every LA show they play now adays. vard, where did you get these numbers? i just recently (within the last 2 weeks) bought 4 matador LPs (Interpol/Belle and Seb) and they were 12.95 each on 180 gram. They sound amazing, and the packaging is also A+. I bought these from a 3rd party distributor (Aural Exploitz) and still paid 56 bucks for 4 180g records that i am stoked on. just sayin. edit: i just read the link above with all the RTI reissues. kind of a bummer. that condo fucks (yo la tengo) pre order is only $12 right now. i think i may just PO it. to the poster who needed to 'complete their B&S collection' i just did.. go to www.auralexploits.com.. they are selling all the 180g for 12.95 each.
