  1. They've been selling the cd on tour for $5 for as long as I can remember, but I've never purchased it, nor downloaded it. Maybe this will persuade me.
  2. I drove home the night of the second show, it was a pleasant 6hr drive back to Pittsburgh. We did the same thing after Boy Sets Fire's last show, only I about died on that one.
  3. I wish I went to the reunion shows. RVA is a little far from New Brunswick, Canada. Also, I was in Costa Rica at the time! I will be going to RVA on the way to The Fest to see Gaslight Anthem! Are you kibypuckett from punknews? I'm KirbyPuckett everywhere on the Internet! Sans eBay -- some schmuck beat me to it.
  4. I don't know about this, but thanks for bringing it to my attention so I can order it. Did you go to the reunion shows? I need to track down the original, once I pick up this I'll own ever variation of the album I think.
  5. I like Bad Astronaut, but they're never a band that I'm dying to listen to. If it comes on shuffle, I'll listen, but I'll very rarely play a B.A. record. However, their cover of NOFX's "Linoleum" is one of the best covers ever and trumps the original ten fold.
  6. I thought bands can't add you anymore? You have to add them, no? Facebook is awful, it's becoming just as bad as the Myspace cesspool. I only check Facebook once a week, because I cannot deal with being 'poked' or 'bitten by a zombie' -- all of the apps, presents, and other nonsense is ridiculously annoying. I'm pretty content with Myspace, because I've gotten used to my annoyances. I also installed a few Greasemonkey scripts to eliminate all ads and things I find annoying (ie. that mood thing, transform your pictures notifications, tom's posts, etc...). I also have one that strips everyones pages to look like the default myspace page (e.g. no backgrounds, no music, etc...), it's made using Myspace much more tolerable. However, both are terrible in their own aspects, their only redeeming qualities is that EVERYONE uses them. Virb is a much better website, taking the best of both -- too bad it's too late to get people to use it. /rant
  7. One time I was over Scott's house I stole a ton of vinyl while he was battling the toilet. He still has no idea.
  8. @rrd I have "Anywhere With You" 7inch on clear orange. Not sure if you have any interest in that or not.
  9. Curb Your Enthusiasm is soooo good! You have to watch more than the first episode, it really picks up. I can understand if you don't like it though. Larry makes you feel so awkward for him sometimes, similar to Carrel or Gervais in the Office (US/UK).
  10. Honestly if you don't own Resident Evil 4 for the Wii you're a moron. Hahaha, all joking aside it is one of the greatest video games ever made and the Wii makes it an absolute MUST BUY.
  11. http://www.myspace.com/kirbypuckett There's mine, do with it what you wish.
  12. Eh, you should understand that the average hot topic employee is a moron. I found a store with the Falcon LP, but it took me 10 minutes of explaining what the hell it was. Also, they won't send it to me because it's a clearance item. I even offered to pay the person personally if they purchase it and ship it to me. Fools.
  13. I cannot wait! Last year was my first Fest and I will never, ever miss a Fest again. I booked my hotel yesterday and got my Fest ticket. We're staying at the main hotel. Flying into Gainesville is awful because it's a small airport, so I may land in Orlando and save $200 (aka $200 to spend on cheap vinyl from No Idea). I'd like to see the list of bands below, although I'll probably see about half and about a dozen other bands I've never heard of. I still have to go through that list and listen to those band's myspace pages, because there are soooo many I'm unfamiliar with. Drop any recommendations if there's some hidden gems on there. 108 Against All Authority American Steel Andrew Jackson Jihad Army of Ponch The Arrivals Assholeparade Avail Billy Reese Peters Blood Bath and Beyond Bomb The Music Industry The Bomb Circle Takes The Square Cloak/Dagger Dead to Me Defiance, Ohio Dillinger Four The Draft The Ergs Fake Problems The Falcon The Flatliners Fleshies Gaslight Anthem Ghost Mice Grabass Charlestons J Church The Lawrence Arms Marked Men Modern Life Is War Naked Raygun New Mexican Disaster Squad North Lincoln No Trigger O Pioneers! 14. Anyone from here going to The Fest? http://thefestfl.com/ I remember getting some good deals on vinyl during a No Idea sale.
  15. I'm currently working on a torrent of every seinfeld season -- 31gb!
  16. I'm just about to go dive into Super Paper Mario. I keep slacking w/ this game. I'm only 11hrs in. I also have Zelda, Resident Evil 4 (Just beat it, incredible game), Excite Truck (underrated game), Rayman, Wii Play, and Wario Ware. I'm buying Strikers Charged this week. I love this system.
  17. I have a copy of Greased's first pressing on split colored vinyl. I think it's red and blue...I can't remember off the top of my head. Seeing as you're a big LTJ fan I could probably be talked into trading it. Let me know.
  18. Mando - That's a good idea, but the font on the quote is not fitting in at all. Also, as mentioned above, you can't really tell that's vinyl. Still...I like the idea.
  19. Subnote, my friend is sending me a copy of the 7" from when Alkaline Trio and the Popes played together on New Years. She got it for me back then as a birthday gift but forgot to send it to me. All I have to do is send her an electric pencil sharpener as a return birthday gift. DEAL OR WHAT? That beats last years birthday present which was a Lawrence Arms setlist signed and dedicated to my birthday.
  20. how do you like that? I was always kinda interested in it, it does have line level rca outputs right? Yeah, it also has a place for a mini-head phone jack and one of the larger ones. It's a good player, I highly recommend adding speakers to it though. The little speaker built in is kinda wimpy. I have no space in my room to put additional speakers so I just use headphones or let the little speaker go. It's a fun little player, it was my first. My next one will be a higher quality player.
  21. NOFX - Regaining Unconsciousness (grey) Sparta - Austere
  22. Hmm, I would like to own "Born to Quit" on LP
  23. Ok, I looked. I have a Numark PT01. Another company makes the same thing, but with their name on it (I've seen it for sale at Urban Outfitters). Edit: I'm a retard and used HTML. This is what happens when you get used to using message boards based on DRUPAL.
  24. I'm interested. My girlfriend bought this from Hot Topic yesterday and it came with the CD but not the 7". What's on the b-side? What color is it? - Jeff It's on black. The song is called "You Must Be Willing" -- It's a four and a half minute slow little acoustic number that builds up into a hearty song. It definitely wouldn't have fit on the record, but it's a good song nonetheless.
