This show is brilliant. I downloaded the entire season so far and will be finishing it up on my lunch break.

Suptopic: How do you guys handle splits when organizing your records. I guess this goes for the alphabetical folks. I never know what to do w/ splits and I feel strange whenever I make a decision. Sometimes I'll do the band I like more, other times I'll organize it based on which band appears on side-a. Discuss.

I'm really into computers, have been since 5. By really into them I mean messing around inside, tweaking it, etc. So for most of my life I've been an avid Windows fan. However, lately I just don't have the time for that and prefer ease of use, ala OS X. I use both operating systems. My main machine is a powerhouse of a PC (I actually have OS X installed on it, but I'm going to be wiping that partition) that runs Windows XP -- I'll never run Vista. I also have an iBook G4 for my laptop. My next big computer purchase will be a Mac Book Pro, because I'll favor something compact, that's still rather powerful for what I do. I'm planning on installing Ubuntu Linux on my main PC as a dual boot very soon. I installed it on a new web server at work and my brother also uses it. I could not be more impressed with a simple operating system. I'm assuming by sometime next year I'll be touting a Mac Book Pro w/ all three OSes installed. /geek

I've been thinking about collecting every Mario game ever, but I'm not sure if I want to do that or not.

I download a ton of fucking music...but I spend more money than I should on music too. I'm greedy I guess, because I want to hear EVERYTHING. If I like it, I eventually buy it. That's just how things are in 2007. Soon we're going to see a big shift into the digital market. Labels are starting to wise up, sans Universal who are complete fools for backing out on Apple. Kids don't really buy music. Out of all of my friends my brother, my buddy JB, Heisel, and P Fresh are the only people I know that buy music still. I don't just have 5 friends either.

I also have a few framed and put on my walls. My room is a mess right now, but once I move out I'm going to try to decorate a room w/ just album covers. Try to make it look very nice and not too cluttered. Sometimes I frame a record because I like it a lot, other times its the album cover. I haven't changed them in a while, but the four I have up right now are The Hold Steady - Boys & Girls in America Matt Pond PA - Emblems Against Me! - Reinventing Axl Rose None More Black - File Under Black I need to go buy more frames, but every time I think about doing that I'm like "Hmm, I could just buy another record instead..."

I have my LPs on a little shelf and my 7" in my Billy shelfing that I got at Ikea (this also holds my CDs).

The only band logo tattoo I would get his Hot Water Music, but I will never get a tattoo. Ever.

Strikers is a blast. They just announced today that Super Smash Brothers is going to have a side-scrolling game within it!!!!! I am super stoked on that! It's supposed to be pretty robust too. Check the official site for details.

There's a Hot Topic near philly that has it. It's the only store in PA. I called and they won't even mail it to me. I offered the clerk $20 on the side to send it to me + paying for the record. So pissed.

I ordered this like two weeks ago from ebay and I've yet to receive it. I hope it's not a repress.
