The cartridge doesn't feel loose. But when I examined the soldered metal connected to the wires in the back of the cartridge, one of them felt loose. The others were snug. Bottom wire, closest to camera. It's colored white. The other wires are red, blue, and green, if that information matters haha... But with it feeling a little loose indicate I would need to tighten it or just replace the cartridge?

Thanks for the quick replies so far... I connected the turntable through my computer's microphone input and recorded the sound using windows sound recorder. Same result. I'll try fiddling with the cartridge.

So this is my Dad's turntable that he's had before I was born. This baby still works great, but the only problem is it's only generating sound coming from the left channel. I noticed this when I would listen to music and I would hear only the lead guitar and melodies, and not so much any rhythm and lead vocals. It's definitely not my speakers. It's definitely not the pre-amp because it's about 2-3 years old. I'm thinking it's the audio cables that are attached to the turntable itself. Uhhh what?? They've only become bigger since then. How do you figure they lost most of their fanbase? I mean there are the douches that go to every show and complain in the background about them only playing new stuff, but generally speaking, I'd say you're wrong. They have become bigger, I agree. I meant the fans who were there before Vheissu, a majority of them ditched them because of their new sound. This is from my point of view whenever I talk about Thrice with anyone. They all like TAITA because it was their most mainstream sounding album. I've been listening to them ever since Identity Crisis and grew up with their sound.

They casted a vote on their site when they announced their farewell tour. You could vote for your favourite songs to be played since a majority of the fans stopped listening after The Artist in the Ambulance. There's a good chance very few would be played. I went to the last show at HOB Anaheim and they ended with Phoenix Ignition and To Awake and Avenge the Dead. It was a small dose of nostalgia. I hope they end the show I'm going to with some sort of extended version of T&C. Does anyone know if they're also recording a live DVD with the upcoming live album?

what time did you buy? Bought the records around 10-10:10 am and the tickets no later than 12:15. I was in panic mode buying the tickets because my phone wasn't letting me buy it, but then my friend let me purchase them with his computer. He bought a pair too. I owe him one.

I ordered at 2:20 pm Pacific on RSD through PayPal and the funds have been taken out of my bank+paypal accounts. My order is still on the 'submitted' phase. I haven't gotten an e-mail about my order ever since.
