I'm gonna miss my local Borders (South Coast Plaza). They used to play live music and open mics, something Barnes & Noble didn't have besides a noisy Starbucks. B&N had me at free wifi though. Something I needed when my dad forgot to pay for internet that month. So B&N was my place for study sessions away from home. Borders also had a local music section. I remember being 12 or 13 and discovering local talent at a young age. I almost bought a CD from this artist who reminded me of jimmy hendrix's guitar riffs and vocals mixed with the black keys. Now that I think about it, Borders' music section kind of helped influence me as what I enjoy listening to today and what I know is good music. Im 23, no degree, with $5-6k in debt. These days I work as a full-time mailroom/file clerk at a steady foreclosure company. My job sucks but it helps pay the bills. 80-90% of my debt should be gone by the end of the year so I can go back to school debt free. I just hope they dont lay me off at work.

PS3: NHL '12 Season Mode as the Anaheim Ducks I have a ridiculous backlog because of Skyrim. Haven't touched it in months though. Going to crack open a brand new copy of Goldeneye Reloaded soon. Bought it months ago too and didn't have the time to get to it. I'm feeling nostalgic.

i listened to this album again on spotify today and i just don't know if i wanted to buy it on vinyl or not. now it's too late, but i'll check out my local HT tomorrow and see if they have any available.

I see everyone with Audio Technica. I almost bought one until I figured out why mine was producing sound on one side. Amazon has it for a few $ cheaper than Best Buy.

I went to a local box store and they sell 12" for 1.94/ea. Last time I went I bought 10 and the guy dropped it to 1.50/ea. I know they have discounts when you buy a bundle of 50? then 100. I recently started collecting the boxes we throw away for our bankers boxes. Gonna make my own.

Posts like this crack me up. If you were only buying it to hopefully get a limited version, maybe you shouldn't be buying it in the first place. The shop we went to said they had it but there were only 2 copies left so we reserved 1. I didn't bother reading the sticker because it was very, very similar to the loser ed sticker. When I got home it was too late. Sub Pop really tricked me on this. I'll get a copy of the loser ed. ventually. I really like Bloom.
