I don't have anything against them. I like them a lot, but flood HATES them. I cannot stand them. My roommate was obsessed with them and saw them like 10 times. I saw them open for Streetlight and it was god awful. Thank god Dan Potthast was there to awesome the place up before Zox came on.

So I didn't read this thread, but did this answer the question of if 180 gram sounds better? Also I think this was the press I should've bought, except I'm still waiting for a pic disc!!! (Although I'd want both pic disc and regular colored vinyl if I did that and black is boring!!! )

They were awful playing a single on Conan or Letterman or some talk show. I almost saw them play a festival, but then decided 40 bucks was too much.

The Slackers impressed me live, but I can't sit through one of their albums it's just a yawn fest for me. I want to give Pietasters a chance live, but on recording they do nothing for me. I really don't understand why they get so much praise and attention. Oh and you know what was a huge bummer? I listened to it like twice then sold it. Did not sound like Buck O Nine at all, it was the same garbage that has been flooding the ska scene since Westbound Train has been boring crowds to death with.

Goddamnit, all the good shit is happening after I leave. Plus this is the same day AWK BTMI Pat Pend. Probably not same crowds, but that would suck for me.

I have to check this out!!! Lilly Allen did a Specials cover a while back it's pretty good.

OH MY GOD! That new Mad Caddies record is another one that I just rediscovered. I listened to that thing non stop when it first came out and haven't listened to it since. Soooo good!!! That really is their best album (better than Road Rash) I never got into the Slackers or Pietasters and Strictly Rude was a huge let down. It has a killer first couple tracks then they slow it down and kill the whole vibe of the album. In Black and White is better front to back but Strictly Rude has better singles I think.

I really should try and get more 2 tone stuff.

Seriously, song came up on my ipod on shuffle, now I listen to it all the time. Mustard Plug seems to have grown up on this record and it is excellent, probably their best record. Seriously, I don't know why I didn't listen to this for so long!

Delusional Tremors. At least I think that's what they were. I was drinking a lot last summer.

In my old house one night I woke up to use the bathroom and walked past the living room to get to the bathroom and there are garbage bags all over the sofa filled with something. I'm pretty sure my parents didn't put it there. By the time I woke up the next morning all the bags were gone. NOT even in the driveway as garbage or garage as old clothes. It was strange. Another thing that happened in my old house which might just be from excessive sleepwalking was I would sometimes fall asleep in the living room and wake up in my bed or vice versa, my parents swore they never moved me too. Which was strange. Oh and I used to get really bad DT's last summer and imagine people in my room. I did it while sharing a room with my little bro on vacation and scared the crap out of him. It was weird.

The last two words make it worth it.

Nostalgic for Nothing is my favorite too!!! Horror of life is good too. I just got Society the other day. THAT B SIDE IS KILLER!!! I also think the Precession of Simulcara 10" is pretty killer.
