I think it's totally sweet that there are two basement venues down the block from each other. I wish I was there the day they had AJJ at 99 and another show at 29 but I was already home for summer.

Streetlight, We are the Union, Chuck Ragan, Possible NFG in Pitts, Gaslight in Rochester, the Knockdown.. Okay 6 but still. It seems like every band loves fall in WNY because last October was jam packed with bands (so many I had to skip some from exhaustion and lack of money)

I actually find a lot of fun stuff at Hot Topic. I wish it didn't look like a place for morons though (although they probably aim at the moron population, they ARE in malls) Sometimes you can get some good cheap CDs there. Non of the Hot Topics near me carry vinyl which sucks. I'm considering applying for a part time job at Hot Topic, you get to listen to semi decent music, talk about semi decent music and dress how you wanna dress everyday. Whats wrrong with that?
