  1. I'm an active user as well, though usually just cataloging my collection and submitting unique releases. If you need help I wouldn't mind taking a look and seeing what I can do when I've got free time on my hands.
  2. I've had Hot Topic shipping confirmation emails sent to me days after the items had already been delivered. Best to just check the website. As far as USPS confirmation numbers, I've had valid numbers not display any tracking information until the item was delivered. Often times their numbers won't display anything after days of being in transit, then update showing where it had been every step of the way. USPS's system is not as reliable as the tracking services provided by UPS or FedEx.
  3. I have not received a shipping confirmation email, but my order status was updated to "Shipped" today and a tracking number was added (which does not register on USPS.com yet).
  4. Recieved 2 packages today. One containing Johnny Cash's Ain't No Grave. Arrived alone in an LP mailer, though the shrink was torn and there was a small split on the top. None of that bothers me and the tear in the shrink is likely from being on a store shelf. Luckily they sent out the version I was hoping for (and the version that matched the UPC on gohastings.com's listing), which was the Lost Highway 10th Anniversary Edition on clear vinyl. Second package was Blur 21, Misfits' Earth A.D. and Antony & The Johnson's Swanlights. These ones came in a box with the 2 single LPs being wrapped in bubble wrap and placed on top of the Blur box. It was pretty decently packed and nothing was damaged in transit, though the Blur box had torn shrink and a little shelf wear. Nothing to complain about.
  5. I also had one item in my cart that the discount did not apply to, but as robotfactory stated it was a special order item.
  6. Just a heads up to those interested: Gohastings.com is running 30% off all vinyl today with the coupon code BLACKFRI Ordered a few things myself Realism - Magnetic Fields $3.50 Earth A.D. - Misfits $3.67 Swanlights - Antony and the Johnsons $5.60 American VI: Ain't No Grave - Johnny Cash $6.62 Blur 21: The Vinyl Box - Blur $113.64
  7. I have even ordered a new record from Hastings and received a CD (this only happened once, and every other order I've made through them has been fulfilled correctly). I have never ordered a used record from them, though.
  8. There's an awesome looking exclusive color for Cat Power's new album, Sun: http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/catalog/productdetail.jsp?id=26015115 They were also advertising Thurston Moore's Demolished Thoughts on clear vinyl as an Urban Outfitters exclusive, though it was also available direct from Matador.
  9. I was going to head down there today before seeing The Book Of Mormon, but decided not to after dropping $80 at In Vinyl We Trust last night. I bought 2, since that seemed to be the limit. Now I guess I'm going to Amoeba anyways.
  10. I doubt it. Proposition, Jesse James and The Road didn't get a vinyl release. This one may have a wider appeal, but I still don't see it happening. Would be awesome though. EDIT: I didn't even notice that the release for this one has been handled by Sony rather than Mute, so I guess the way Mute has handled their releases is irrelevant.
