I think that that's a pretty accurate description of the sound. Overall, I'm still extremely satisfied. The highs are a little tinny, and to me the bass sounded a bit muddled into the guitar. Despite this, it still sounds miles above my CD. Points of Authority really sounded good; I heard layers of sound I had never noticed before.

I hope the hype of this dies off and I'll be able to pick it up somewhere for a decent price in a couple months. Those flippers on Ebay make me pissed.

I decided to swing by a few stores this afternoon/evening to see if anything was left. I picked up Linkin Park, which I was actually surprised to find. If you're from Cleveland, I found it at the Exchange at Coventry. The Exchange in Lakewood was pretty picked through.

My Mind's Eye was insane. I was completely frozen by the time I got inside. Waited over an hour. I was looking for the same stuff as the others: T/T/T, TF/TA, NFG, Linkin Park, and Now Now but they didn't get anything/slim pickins. Hoping to hit up the Exhchanges tomorrow in hopes of at least grabbing Hybrid Theory or the NFG record. I only picked up Botch. It hurt my wallet. It was $31.00.

I've given the album an honest listen since it's leak, and it's grown on me. It's still easily their worst record, and the terrible production doesn't help it. I wish the melodies and lyrics were more inspired. I might pick up the $8 record via Amazon still. It's an enjoyable listen minus a few tracks, and I'd like to support the band.

They sound very similar. New guy sounds and even looks similar, although much larger. New keyboardist is good too. Honestly sounded just as good as the first several times I saw them.

I want the starburst but I don't need anymore shirts. I'll probably wait a while and then just pick up the black.

I'm cool with that. I was sort of bored with the pill one, even though it's a bit more rare. I really want the birds ones.

Still disappointed with this record. I'm on my third listen and I've grown to like some of it, but it's incredibly weak.

That's what happened with the IIOI 52 Weeks. Delayed for several months, but they expedited shipping for the tour press. Could have bought the tour press but just ended up waiting.

With my luck, I won't get the vinyl until after I see them, where they will probably have copies on sale at their merch booth.

I thought about this earlier as well, and it seems to make some sense. I was really hoping for the birds one, but it looks like everyone here got the devil and pills ones.Not really as "random" as we'd expect I guess.

From what I know, there will be. I'm pretty sure the band was against it and it was Hopeless's decision.
