Had a half hour to kill at the Princeton Record Exchange and store credit burning a hole in my pocket. Ended up with a VG+ Colgems Stereo copy of 'The Birds, The Bees & The Monkees' with original shrink for $11.99 and the US 3" CD single for the Sugarcubes "Coldsweat" for $1.99. The sleeve on the Sugarcubes single has the longbox part perforated off, but for $2 I couldn't pass as I didn't have some of the b-sides on CD. (Yay "Birthday (Icelandic)"!)

Really? There were a number of people who joined this thread and bought this box who said they'd never even heard (or even heard of) Lillingtons before. Are they the most dedicated fans?
 
While I think the process Todd set up was fine - it basically gave everyone with access to this message board (ie. anyone with a web connection) the ability to buy this. All you had to do was have $90 and be online at noon central on a Sunday. There was no preferential treatment.
 
Also, fucking with someone because they're selling a record is super silly. It's not fair game at all. If Todd wants to send the guy a message, fine; but bidding up the auction out of spite is some crybaby bullshit.

There were also other RevCo 12"s (which I already had), some great 4AD stuff, the first two Lard LPs (which were kind of pricey at $19.99 each), a slew of UK Siouxsie and the Banshees LPs, etc, all in amazing condition. But I had to draw the line somewhere.
That said, if you're in the area, it's worth checking out.
