Amazon uk dispatched mine today - they've also now jacked up the price by £20 to £73. Glad I got on this early.

For people in the UK: It's on amazon.co.uk now for £53.86 with free postage Cancelled my amazon.com order as it would have been significantly more expensive after import tax.

Just ordered on Amazon.com - postage to uk is $7 there compared to $67 from musicdirect. If anyone sees this listed on a UK site though let me know!

YES! Amazing band and album.

My copy arrived yesterday. Really quick for delivery to uk/eu. I like it, interesting to hear them incorporate acoustic guitar, woodwind and a bit of vocal effects along with a bit of synth.

Not bitching. If anything I was standing up for myself and the other international VCers. At the end of the day if mondo had mentioned this info from the start, and if they'd actually put measures in place to disable the international shipping option then there wouldn't have been much of an issue.Now everyone take a deep breath and relax :-)

Well I for one didn't realize until after ordering and in all the press and run up to this they never once mentioned it. Also considering how fast these releases tend to sell out i'm guessing people were scrambling to complete the purchase rather than read a lot of text. I don't expect mondo to make an exception for me and I don't think I'm a special case but if they'd let everyone know this caveat from the start they wouldn't have wasted my time and theirs. Still, I guess it's easier to be smug and mocking when you know your copy is guaranteed.

I messaged mondo on the requests section of the site and they confirmed that international orders will be cancelled and refunded. So disappointed. Wanted one so bad.

Port Of Morrow is £10 on amazon.co.uk last i checked. Don't know their shipping costs though.

Piccadillyrecords.com (uk based) have the 12" for £6.49 and it comes with a 12" x 12" art print signed by the band. Hope this helps.

Mary;s Voice is a brilliant album. The popup artwork they do is great. Here is a picture of my three Music Tapes LP's together.

Check out A Hawk And A Hacksaw. Can't go wrong with any of the E6 bands. Getting an E6 collection together myself on vinyl. The popup Lp and 7"s from The Music Tapes are cool. Also check out The Singing Saw at christmastime by julian koster - best weirdest christmas album ever!
