  1. Can i be exempt from this? Arsenal fan all my life and unlike most utd and liverpool fans... i can walk to the ground in 20 mins!
  2. I didn't watch enough of it to really be able to comment but i always think the US puts out a decent side capable of causing upsets, one point on sunday and you stand a really good chance of going through unless Germany hammer you... which isn't out of the question, unfortunately. I always hear people saying the US could end up winning the world cup, given the resources and the population size. How close it it to being a major sport over there? Is it already? I dunno, it seems to me as thought a bit more popularity could end up with you having a really decent side.
  3. Just wondering, that's all. Honestly i don't care about international football in the slightest, but obviously it'd be nice to see England do well. I just don't see the fuss about Portugal, they scraped in off Ronaldo's form and are so scared to pass to anyone but him that it made them completely toothless against Germany, who i think would have scored four even if Pepe hadn't have been sent off.
  4. How has this become England v Portugal? We got beaten, you got humiliated. Gave away shit goals but were far from "awful". If Ronaldo's not fit would you really back Portugal so heavily against USA?
  5. Also, yet another shit decision from the ref, Godin should be off the pitch. Totally bottled it!
  6. Jagielka, what was he fucking doing, if he stops in line with Cahill, Suarez is well offside. And THAT'S why he still plays for Everton.
  7. I felt sad watching Spain go out. What a team, possibly the best ever between 2008 and 2012. Iniesta will probably have another WC, as will Pique. They have Koke still to become a regular alongside Fabregas, Morata, Isco, Carvajal, Jese, Illarramendi amongst others (probably) to bring through too so they're far from spent.
  8. Blasphemy from an Englishman but i hope Germany or Argentina win this!
  9. Sorry but Pepe is a liability and is just lucky you can play anyone next to Ramos. Also re: Ronaldo in the CL final. He did fuck all, literally could not believe his luck when he got to take a penalty to get on the scoresheet. Still the second best player in the world if you ask me.
  10. Or get a man sent off, they are in serious trouble now.
  11. Portugal are going to have to step this up or it could get embarrassing.
  12. The Germany/Portugal/USA/Ghana group is gonna be good. Obviously Portugal and Germany are favourites to go through but i could see USA causing an upset, maybe at the expense of Portugal if they get beaten by Germany.
  13. When did i mention England?! They will be lucky to get out the group. I think it'll be Brazil or Argentina, let's not forget Portugal only just qualified!
  14. Tell me about it, clearly this would never happen but the tournament would really benefit from only using officials from the host nation and then the big five leagues - PL, Serie A, La Liga, Bundesliga and Ligue 1, possibly the Eredivisie too. They deal with players of this standing week in week out and although you won't stop it happening, there definitely wouldn't have been as many massive fuck ups as there have been so far.
  15. Wanna see England do ok playing the youngsters. I hope Argentina win it, i wouldn't mind Brazil, but the diving going on last night made he hope they don't.
  16. I actually think there's WAY less going on than in GTA and i'm on an xbox one. Anyway, graphics aside - which are incredible when it's raining or night - i'm getting bored of this game far too quickly, anyone else finding this? I just realised i can't even remember the name of the guy i'm controlling he's that boring a character, i'm gonna stick to a few more campaign missions and see if things get more interesting but so far, even on the 360, GTAV has this beaten with it's hands tied!
  17. I love Johnny Cash's cover of NIN's hurt. I'm not a huge NIN fan, nor am i a huge fan of Johnny Cash, i just think it's awesome that this 70 year old, in his last years decided to cover an industrial band's song. I don't think i've ever thought it was anything other than a cover but i'd just love to know whether it's an idea he came up with himself or was pitched at him by his label. I really hope it's the former.
  18. Also enjoying Watch Dogs, shame it's not as mind-blowing graphically as they first touted it to be but still, the game itself is really cool.
  19. Cannot wait to dish it out to Redknapp once again. Such a dickhead.
  20. just washed a pair of edwins that i got in nov 2011 for the second time tonight, wore them pretty much a year and a half straight without them even seeing water.
  21. This is that Bulletproof Coffee thing isn't it? Have you seen benefits? I hear it really helps burn fat...
  22. Similar to a cappuccino, but smaller because there's less milk so the coffee comes through much stronger. It's an Australian thing that's become popular since all this third wave coffee stuff. Is this just an Australian/UK thing?
  23. Yeah totally obsessed here. I don't drink too much of it, maybe a couple of cups a day but it's definitely quality not quantity. For me i usually drink an espresso based drink, i have a good machine at home and have a cappuccino in the morning and in the afternoon i'll go to the local place (luckily for me this is Monmouth Coffee in London - look it up, it's widely regarded as the best place in the country) and get a flat white. I usually buy my coffee from there too, i like south american beans, with a little less acidity or kenyan if i want a little more.
