Szcz wasn't a professional foul. Not in a million years. Demichelis' was, he wasn't getting the ball and made a decision to deliberately stop that player having a chance to score by fouling them, that deserved a red and a penalty (for argument's sake let's say it was in the area) because it was entirely deliberate. By the letter of the law, Szcz unfortunately had to go but i genuinely don't think anyone would have argued had he been given a yellow and Bayern a penalty. It wasn't deliberate, it was a ball he was 100% entitled to go for and he even pulls out of the challenge when he realises he's not going to get it. I thought it was a perfect situation for common sense to prevail in such a massive game but clearly that ref didn't think so. Up until that point we were bossing them aside from Kroos' shot in the first couple of mins, the missed pen definitely took the wind out of our sails but the penalty and red card just killed the game. The atmosphere was still awesome, though and the card display at the beginning looked SO cool.

The Arsenal - Liverpool game today was so good, the ground was rocking! Thought we played really well but Liverpool could have cleaned up if their finishing was better. As for that penalty that never was... cry me a fucking river.

The Bronx I and II, i love these records and would never sell for any price. Also, Converge - Axe To Fall on shards, i'm not one for having to have the most limited variant but when this turned up, it was definitely a nice touch.

Save a thought for me, i sat through that in the stands in 0 degrees and couldn't feel my hands by the end. Honestly, though, i thought we went for it second half, first was terrible without a doubt. Also, should have had a fucking pen, Vidic gets away with everything, every game. I'll take point from that game, they have quality players who can win games like that but we shut them up, that rapist they bought off us made 14 passes all game and all Rooney did was cry to the ref until the ref told him to fuck off after half an hour.

Been running for about three years now, love it, anyone who doesn't think they can run - you're wrong! I usually run outside but to mix it up this year i got a flexi membership to my local gym for the winter months, loving it so far. I go three times a week, two will be 30min intervals and one will be a fairly leisurely 10k. I used to use Nike's running app to track my runs but since i decided i actually wanted to know how far i've run i bought a Garmin watch and haven't looked back, that thing is so accurate.

The thumbnails are dynamically created, i can upload them individually but it wouldn't have the tile effect unfortunately - i'd have to put them in a different page style - and i don't know the first thing about web design so unfortunately creating something from scratch is out of the question. Squarespace seems pretty decent for my needs now but i do take on board what you're saying about the thumbnails, it's not totally perfect - it actually really annoys me that i can't add captions or descriptions to my various piece of work which is particularly annoying when it comes to my 'other work' as i can't specify that some of it was spec work for job applications i missed out on, however i'm going to go with a different format for these to make it possible. I'm just about to enter a snowboard design contest so hopefully that'll give me a nice piece to showcase in the next couple of months.

Nah, wasn't picked for the last one. Yeah i'm really sad, more sad for him than for the team. Not gonna lie, he adds a lot, especially late on in games but i disagree with the idea that a full season would potentially put him amongst the best in the world, i personally don't think he'll ever reach that level. I think he could have a few seasons with 15 goals but for every goal or assist is a heap of absolute frustration - this is from someone who watches him every other week live and sees stuff the cameras don't. He's not a particularly clever player, the guy can finish but in terms of being a constant threat, he just doesn't have it in him. Gnabry has the potential to be much, much better than Theo, he tore spurs apart with very little playing time prior to the game, he's quick, can skin defenders and play the killer pass. My biggest disappointment over Theo's injury is that we won't get to have him play down the middle with Gnabry out wide, they were awesome together at the weekend and seemed a genuine option in Giroud's absence.

I got married about three months ago and engaged a year before that. We went on a long trip to California and i decided i'd propose there, we were in LA and a friend of ours who lives there told us about a spot in the hills to see the Hollywood sign so i figured i'd do it there - the way he described it actually made it sound like it was pretty out the way and secluded so i don't have a crowd watching. Anyway, we headed up there late afternoon and got stuck in traffic, it was so bad that we decided to go back to the hotel because we had dinner reservations. I was fucking bummed, i'd spent the entire day (and holiday so far) feeling like i was going to shit myself with nerves and by the time i woke up the next day i just couldn't take it anymore so i popped the question in the hotel room before we went out for the day (it was a really nice hotel and her favourite place so i don't feel too bad). Fair to say she was totally shocked, her first words after i asked were actually "what the fuck are you doing?". But i've come to realise since that it really doesn't matter how you do it, it's an amazing moment regardless of where it happens and the story around our engagement gave me some filler for my groom's speech. As for rings, if you're not sure what she wants, buy a cheap one so you have something to give her and take her to pick one out afterwards, we did this and it was really nice thing to do together and she got exactly what she wanted. Pro tip: wherever you get the engagement ring from, make sure you enquire about wedding bands while you're there, lots of places give big discounts if you come back to buy them there (we got 30% off ours). Oh one more thing... congrats and prepare to feel more nervous then you've ever felt in your entire life haha!

I saw this last night and while there were some really funny bits, on the whole i thought it was bad, almost as if they just went through the first film, noted down which bits were most popular, then did them again except not nearly as well. Can't remember exactly when but i think you'll be waiting until june/july. Unfortunately the done thing by clubs these days is (for league games at least) to require prospective ticket-buyers to have a club membership in order to do so, so you might wanna look into that, it won't be more than £10-15 and may not even be something Everton do but you'd best check as tickets will go really fast and you don't want to be fucking about with that on the day they go on sale.

We are playing some great stuff, i felt like we won the cardiff game like a team who should challenge this season, we were good but not outstanding and still came out comfortable winners. January will decide our season, we must buy, no excuses, throw money at a top striker like Jackson Martinez or Benzema, even Cavani if he's really as unhappy as people say.
